Only had 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. Had to hang out in the laundry room to snag a washer and dryer to do laundry

That we didn’t stay longer!

This was an absolute find. Exceptionally clean, room (twin and double) a generous size. Comfortable bed and thoughtful touches. A good breakfast, bear in mind they are trying to cater for an international guest. Location was fantastic, in amongst it all, with a hive of activity out the front and back of the hotel and station 5 mins away, but also tucked away so peaceful inside.

The hotel was lovely and in a great area to explore Kyoto, only a 5 minute walk from a metro station. Staff were friendly. Room was small but was well laid out and extremely comfortable. Having access to a washing machine and dryer was great.

The bathroom felt quite small. The lighting in the room is a bit dim at night. I didn't notice any other downsides of living there.

The hotel is perfectly situated. It's just a short walk to the riverbank, and you'll find plenty of shops, including a large Uniqlo store directly across the street. The area is bustling with a wide variety of izakayas and cafes. You also have easy access to convenience stores like 7/11 and Family Mart. The hotel provides a dedicated room for dining, and complimentary coffee and tea are available all day. They also offer special hot water for preparing instant noodles, which is a thoughtful touch. The breakfast at the "Il-Chianti" restaurant on the basement floor is excellent, offering a great variety of choices. The room has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. You can pick up all the necessary hygiene products from special boxes on the first floor, which is a great, convenient system.

The whole hotel was almost 'too' cold. I had to wear a jumper around the corridors. The breakfast was odd. There is so much choice, but it is the same every single day, even the 'pasta of the day' was the same 5 days in a row. It is a shame they do not change it on a daily basis. After 5 days eating the same choice of food we were very bored of it. The hot food As often cold.

Very beautiful hotel, it smells so good and everything is super clean and modern but with a lovely touch of the 'old Japan' throughout the hotel. There were lots of beauty samples available, face cleaner, masks, hand sanitising towels etc which was also practical. There is a living space with free coffee, water, ice, tea, microwave, boiling water and sofas/tables which was practical for eating in or chilling. Staff was lovely, super helpful with keeping our suitcases in before check in and after check out. The room had a good space, well arranged, cosy and lots of equipment provided. You will not need anything there, even pajamas are provided! Towels are changed everyday which is not necessary but appreciated. The lighting in the room is great to keep it soft and cosy. Aircon was discreet and efficient.

You need to add salt and other ingredients to your breakfast buffet options. Most things were very bland.

Excellent location to Kyoto station. Friendly and knowledgeable staff about the surrounding area and activities outside of the city.

The hotel entrance and lobby are beautiful and even thought the hotel is at the corner of a busy street, it was quite quiet inside. The room was clean with a cool style. The amenities could be refilled at the lobby which I appreciated.
