Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyChildren pay for having breakfast. The garage of the hotel was full, so we had to pay for parking our car in another public parking (the fare was reduced thanks to the hotel arrangement).
Good location. Big breakfast buffet for every kind of taste. Our room at the 13th floor was beatiful and confortable.

SingaporeHotel has a public bath (not onsen), which can get crowded at late hours.
Located relatively near the Monorail station Asahibashi. Room would be tight for 2 people but was comfortable for 1 person (double bed). Hotel has eco-friendly practices where they will clean the room only on the 4th night, but help provide clean towels/water daily at the door (you'll have to put your trash and towels for changing outside the door). Room has a lovely feel and bathroom was clean. The hotel was nice to accommodate our request for early 2-3h check-in (with some extra charges of 1000 yen/hr) as our flight arrival to Okinawa was early.

United KingdomThere is also parking available, but we were not informed about the parking charge until after we received a ticket from the security and had to pay at reception. Additionally, not all members of staff had a good level of English, which made communication a bit challenging at times.
The hotel has modern decor and offers a good breakfast every morning. It's conveniently located near the monorail station, just 15 minutes from the airport. The onsen was clean and relaxing.

Hong KongThe only drawback is that you need to pay an extra fee for tidying up your room and changing of pillow case and bedding daily. It still has a good view of the river but there is already contruction going on right in front of the window and might completely block the view soon.
The location is not far from monorail station and the room is big enough. The public bath is a definite plus and quite rare in Naha.

United StatesTry to go to the onsen at a non prime time if you want to relax. It’s family friendly, so kids will also enjoy themselves as well at full volume haha.
Great location! Accessible to the bus terminal and monorail station! Easy walk to Kokusai Dori. Hotel room was very clean and great amenities. They have great environmentally friendly cleaning policy. The onsen was amazing to relax in. Great night view!

SwitzerlandIn our bedroom, there's a smell of mold in the bathroom, and the building is practically new.
Excellent location of the hotel. The welcome is nothing special, the staff doesn't speak another language, I understand! It's up to us to make an effort, but it's still a bit annoying. The bath on the 13th floor is good.

SingaporeThe staff doesn't really speak English, but they tried and used the translation app to try to answer your queries. Parking is limited as they use the automated parking system and probably only have 20 to 24 parking lots.
Quite a new hotel, the room is clean and furniture is in good condition. The breakfast is more or less the same but is tasty and fresh. The onsen at 13th floor has washing machines & dryers with a cosy sitting area while waiting or can go onsen. Onsen clothing and towels are changed daily. There are bus terminals, 7-11, Lawson and Don Qijoute within walking distance.

BelgiumThe noise of the motorbike on Friday evening. It is like being in Fast and Furious movies at it seems they do competition on the highway next to the hotel.
The staff is really kind, the rooms are very comfortable, the location is great and closed to a metro station. The Japanese bath with the view.

AustraliaWe enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. We received an upgrade to a larger room, which was much appreciated. The standard double room we had booked is great for a single traveller, but can be a little too small for a couple principally due to a lack of room for luggage. The hotel is well located within a couple of minutes walk to the monorail making airport access easy & quick. The main bus terminal is also just across the road. We were able to see most of the sights in Naha by using the monorail and walking. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was quiet. Having the top floor hot baths and a well priced guest laundry were bonuses.

JapanPillow is a little too flat, but this seems like an issue with most hotel in Japan.
The hotel was clean and smell really good! They even sell the fragrance used in the hotel. The staff are generally polite and helpful. Location of the hotel was situated very near their monorail station, and there is a nearby Donki also. Of course, just like any other city in Japan, there are 3 different convinence store that you can visit if you are hungry at late night. The room was very nicely furnished and they even provided a typical okinawan slipper for you to wear. All in all, there are nothing to complain about. Highly recommend this hotel.
