The staff were very accommodating and attended to our needs promptly. When they didn't have what we requested, they found alternatives within 10-15 minutes. If you don't mind a 10-15 minute walk, you can walk to Shinjuku Station. If you'd prefer a longer, scenic ride to various places in Tokyo, you can take the train from the station 5 minutes away from the Hyatt. The alternative is the bus. They're all reliable and is in close proximity to the Hyatt.

Room was very small for a family of 4. We were very cramped. For the cost we could have gotten a bigger hotel room, a suite, or two rooms at another location.

A pretty quiet area. Don't expect Shinjuku shops to be outside your door step. Its about a 15min walk to the main area, and if you have kids, it'll be a struggle after a couple of days.

Like any international hotel, it run efficiently and to expectation.

The concierge service is not very functional. The staff is all very young, not from the neighborhood and can not advise you about the restaurants, because they do not go to the restaurants. At least not in the surrounding area.

We asked for a non smoking room, but our floor smelled like smoke.

Location was amazing! Directly above a subway stop and a 7-11! Our room looked out on lovely Chuo park. Airport bus stops at this hotel as well, making it extremely convenient getting to & from the airport.

TUB WAS NOT AVAILABLE AND SWIMMING POOL. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT.

IT WAS CONVENIENT FOR TRAVELLERS, LIKE US, WHO WONDERED TOKYO , BY PUBLIC SUBWAYS / METRO AND TRAINS. VERY EASY TO REACH. CENTRALLY LOCATED. THE SUBWAY STATION WAS AT BOTTOM OF BUILDING. EASY TO REACH HANEDA AIRPORT FOR RETURN FLIGHT. SURROUNDING WITH AMPLE CHOICE FOR VARIOUS CUISINS AND GARDEN. PLUS THE OBSERVATORY BUILDINGS AS WELL. THANKS.

Terrible noise insulation between the rooms. The hotel rooms are almost air tight. No windows open and there is no fresh air supply. This is a problem as despite hotel wide "no-smoke" policy once a guest sneakily smoke in a room it's very difficult to get that smoke out. We asked for a room change as there was a lingering smell from the previous guests.

Really clean. Super friendly staff. Good facilities. Great view. Looks modern and well maintained. Not a single thing in the room looked or felt dated. Great room size for Japan. Nice breakfast buffet selection.

The room we got upgraded to was quite fancy and the hotel is on the business side of Shinjuku so ideal if you want to come home to a less crowded area. Steps away from the Tokyo Metropolitan building for the night time projections and access to the subway.
