We found an ugly beetle in the room one night. The toilet in our room did not open perfectly when fully opened.

It is close to the train station and within walking distance to the castle, too. The room is comfortably spacious.

The room wifi didn’t work for me but I was given a pocket wifi to use as a substitute. It was super easy and the connection was great.

Located right next to the train station it’s in a great location. Easy 15min stroll to the castle and central for transport. The staff were very helpful and gave me a pocket wifi when my room wifi wasn’t connecting. Would happily stay again.

Everything was very old and not very clean. I’m sure there would be enough money to update some things.I had huge cockroaches in my first assigned room and there was no way I would sleep there. The man in the reception switched my room and only the suite was available which they let me use without extra payment. Even the suite was old and lacking. I’m glad I didn’t have to refund.

The hotel was very close to the station and I didn’t have to worry about the transfers. On the first night there were cockroaches on my room and the staff switched my room.

The room equipment was quite worn down, sometimes broken and "fixed" with tape. The room itself was fine but the bathroom in particular was in pretty bad shape. There was some sewage smell in the bathroom when I checked in, but I was able to ventilate it quickly.

Extremely well located, right across the street from the station Japanese staff that spoke English very well Room was quite large (considering how small rooms usually are) Price was really good, compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast was very large and good.

as with most encounters, language is a great disadvantage when travelling in Japan especially the smaller towns. except for hotel staff, most eateries staff do not even speak a basic level of English. hope this will change with more tourists going to Japan.

the location just great for travellers who need to commute via trains to the different parts of Japan. walkable within 3 mins from the train station and plenty of eateries and souvenir shops around. we were fortunate to find the hotel quickly with the help of someone. the famous Matsumoto castle is within walking distance from the hotel and walking along the roads were pleasant with so much of vibrant activities.

The aircond is centralised, we can’t adjust the temperature which it will be very cold during certain time. They also don’t have warmer in the room. We can only request for more blankets. The laundry works well except the dryer. We dried more than 3 times but the clothes still wet. Improve this and it will be perfect!

The location is very strategic, very near to train station and convenient store. They also provide iron clothes so no need to bring yours cause in Japan the voltage is different. I will definitely come again here when I’m in Matsumoto

The hotel is located in front of the train station and the castle is in walking distance. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned but the staff is very helpful and the rooms are still perfectly clean and comfortable
