There is no staff which means if you are even a few minutes early to check in you'll be waiting for your check in time to use the automated system. If you need to store your bags the lockers around the primary shinjuku station can hold you over until check in.

Location wise its a bit out from the real busy parts of Shinjuku which did indeed make it a bit more relaxing to head back to. You have easy access to stations in the area for transport though and you are super close to some nice parks and gardens. Facilities were exactly as described, automated check in was painless. Also super spacious for a hotel room!

Very minor - the green exit sign at the entry way of the room lights up the room at night.

Nice and spacious for our family of 4. Easy self check-in. Responsive to requests throughout stay. Great location - easy access for transport options and convenience stores. Really liked having a washer/dryer in the apartment.

Slight damp smell from some of the towels and bedding. But otherwise very clean

Super easy check in Great facilities to make breakfast (shops and restaurants close by) Close to subway, train and bus station but on a quiet street. The room was really nice and lots of room for a family of 3.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect — very convenient and close to everything we needed. The amenities were excellent and made our stay very comfortable. Everything was spotless, the cleanliness really stood out. The beds were perfect, super cozy and we all slept so well. Our family truly loved this place — it felt like home but even better. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Broken fan in room and couldnt use, AC was capped and wasn't able to go any lower than 77° F. Daughter was really hot on top bunk.

My only complaint was that the AC wouldn’t go below 77 F/25 C. Not sure if all rooms are like that but we were in room 401. They brought us fans which helped.

Very central, clean, quiet, comfortable. The staff had thought of everything- laundry detergent, shampoo, hair dryer, slippers, extra towels. Great shower!

The shower was a little less luxurious compared to the rest of the apartment but the shower was hot and clean.

It was great to have more space than you get in most Japanese hotel rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well kitted out and there was a great supermarket round the corner. It was about 15 minutes walk to the main train station in Shinjuku with lots of shops and restaurants but we found great places locally for coffee and food.

Others in the building did not honor the quiet hours, including the people above us. Can hear sounds from outside, which normally isn't bad, but someone got into a shouting/car honking match for a solid 5 minutes.

Great location, great for large groups, can easily sleep 6. 3 minute walk from the park, many izakaya nearby.

Lift was very tiny but we got our suitcases in in two trips. Not a huge big deal.

It was very big for our family of 5, super clean with all required facilities, washing machine etc. we were very impressed. No staff at front counter but easy enough to check in on the iPad. Plenty of convenience stores on our street and an easy walk to nearby train station. Nice quiet streets too were lovely to walk around. Loved all the greenery.

A larger fridge would have been better for 5 day stay, but not a big deal as we could visit convenience stores more often.

Large open space kitchen and bedroom, bathroom layout modern and spacious. Clean and everything worked. Perfect for family of 4. Location handy with pharmacy/supermarket next door, convenience stores and coffee also on the street. Train and buses very close and 10 -15 min walk to Shinjuku shopping and food. Not very noisy considering its close to restaurants. Would happily stay here again. The washer/dryer combo was very useful as it did all the wash and drying while we were out.

Inside the room was clean but in the hallway and the lobby downstairs was a bit dirty. Moreover, there’s a lot of club around the location. It make us felt uncomfortable when we walked back from the street at night.

The room was bigger than my expectations and very clean. Also, I like the design in the room as well. It gave us a very nice mood and atmosphere when me and my family stayed together.

There was a light over the door of the room which could not be turned off. Perhaps it was some kind of safety light, but it was quite bright and uncomfortable.
