How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewGood value for money, excellent location 300m from the nearest subway station. Very stylish neighborhood, not touristic at all either great restaurants & coffee shops. I would definitely book it again.
No facilities for cleaning ie a vacuum or a mop. And no information regarding the garbage we didn’t know where to throw them.

Verified reviewThe location is great, close to Gaiemma station with quick access to Shibuya and Shinjuku. The apartment (401) was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed all the space in the apartment with a big table and sofa area. The TV was great too. There are plenty of plug sockets and the wifi was good. A fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave a kettle. The shower was great and the washing machine was quick and efficient. Check-in was simple via an ipad near the door and there is a good elevator/lift. The Lawsons convenience store next door was small but had most things you would need and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Whilst the apartment was quite pricey, the extra space was worth it. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Tokyo.
A very minor thing, but a few more towel hooks in the bathroom would be useful.

Verified reviewThe quiet location on two train lines was perfect for us. It was really nice to slow down at the end of the day. The size was great as well.
We had a small issue figuring out how to get door locked. Staff responded quickly and it resolved.

Only minor issues. Could use some racks for hanging hand towels etc in the main bathroom sink area. The carpet did not seem vacuumed upon arrival. The room was very humid, so clothing and bedding felt moist. A broom or something to sweep would be useful for longer stays. There was also snot on the walls beside the beds which our family cleaned.

Verified reviewOur family of 4 stayed in apt 301 for 4 nights and everything was just perfect. By the end of our vacation it was even sad to leave our home :( The interior, furniture and equipment were modern, the lights scenarios were very convenient, the bathroom was super comfortable! The location is convenient and the area is very safe, we bought breakfast every morning at Lawson downstairs.
Not a minus, but a hint/positive feedback for further improvement for your guests: - add welcome water, tea and coffee would be a nice gesture, in fact it has nothing to do with potential insects,etc. - add more hangers (as there’s no any closet/shelves to store clothes) - add some hooks in the bathroom (there’s only 1 at the shower!) - for a long stay having an iron and a vacuum cleaner would be nice :)

Verified reviewThe place looks amazing and feels luxurious. Value is amazing. Complete supplies in the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. Easy access to the train. Lawson's right next door so quick trips for any needs are no problem. I made a mistake with my booking and it was promptly solved by the team from illi. Highly recommended!
Bathroom light can be too bright when turned on while others are sleeping. Maybe add curtain? but it's really not an issue. Some english instructions for the washing machine can help.

Verified reviewThis place is beautiful and large. 2 large queen bunkbeds, a living room and dining area with a large conference table and a huge bathroom. Looked very modern and had all the amenities you could ever need.
It was a contactless entry. We couldn't get in early or leave our bags there.

Verified reviewVery functional and well designed space. Very quiet and super spacious for Tokyo! Bathroom setup was excellent and we used the washer dryer.
Based on the photos of the unit with the bunk bed it looks like there are four beds. This was my mistake but disappointing for our teens who were squished in a double bed.

Verified reviewSuper close to the subway, literally 3 minutes walk from exit 4a/b of Gaiemmae subway station (on the Ginza line). Apartment is massive, with large dining table, fully equipped kitchen with induction cooker and stovetops, sufficient cutleries. Bed is nice and comfortable and has adequate number of charging ports near the bedside. Toilet is massive with his and hers sink and separate toilet/bath areas. The washing machine/dryer is so thoughtful and really helped with our stay. Location is also superb, super close to the convenience store (Lawson - 24 hrs). Chats via messaging in Booking.com was fantastic.
Check in is unmanned and do-it-yourself, so it can be slightly slow if you don't pre-check in (remember to pre-check in before the day of check in). This place is more like a apartment-hotel so they don't do daily cleaning of the room, you'd have to leave the garbage outside daily and message the hotel to collect the garbage - they did provide sufficient amenities (e.g. 2 towels/person for a 4 night stay). Otherwise, absolutely fantastic.

Unfortunately the accommodation staff could not provide a dustpan or broom to loan during our stay (and no vacuum cleaner) when asked. So it was a little bit messy on the floor with our young child eating cookies and leaving crumbs everywhere, so I was eagerly awaiting the one time cleaning included with our 9 nights stay. I like a daily clean floor, but perhaps that is just me.
