Conveniently located near the beach, if you're in a car.

A towel was provided in place of a blanket, could not see any blankets anywhere. Bedroom was very bare, didn't contain that much.

Felt easy and familiar great location and easy rules we could borrow surf board for free. We liked it so much we re coming back for a few days

Great staff, amazingly friendly owner. It was a no brainer for us to extend our stay. One of the highlights of our Japan trip.

Good price. Even though we needed to share bathroom, it was no problem. Owners and staff are very friendly.

Nothing but one party was noisy talking loudly at the middle of night.

We had the loveliest hosts who were local to the area with lots of knowledge and suggestions. They recommended us nearby onsens and restaurants and helped us to make reservations. Tetado beach was beautiful, surfable, and swimable. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed getting to know the other guests. Amazing hospitality all around!

We have been 4 weeks in Japan and this was the greatest guesthouse we have been. Amazing stuff, great food and much surf fun!

The location was great for a getaway from the city, but going into town frequently can be a little out of the way.

Free bike rental and free surf board rental, 7min from the Beach by walk. Besides the beach is quiet and heavenly. The check-in was so smooth and intuitive. Safe and super clean. Massive kictchen to cook and share with others, grocery shop very close, with affordable Wagyu beef ! If you want to feel the surf vibe in Japan, this is a go to place !! Taka and Reo (managers) are so friendly and helpful, ask them anything. Big big plus : Reo is american and really flexible, and Taka is an Izakaya Chef (you won’t even need to speak japanese to bond with him) Taka San (the owner) is the local Kelly Slater and he can teach you surf. He lives next door with Shuko San and his lovely family. They are friendly and so open minded. They offered me the most authentic experience of my one-month trip in Japan. I strongly recommend this place P.S : I wish I had a house like theirs

I wish I could stay longer.

I had an absolutely wonderful time here. The guesthouse is surrounded by lush green nature and a mere 10 min walk from the beach. Aside from your own room, you also have access to the very well-equipped communal kitchen, free e-bike rental, and surfing equipment! Most importantly, Taka's family and staff are all such warm people. I felt like I wasn't just staying in a guesthouse but invited to share their life for the time I was there.

Large room for myself. Friendly staff. Easy walk from the bus stop and beaches.

Bit of a trek to the nearest convenience store and restaurants. No reflection on the accommodation but was the only guest and it poured with rain so I wasn't able to take advantage of surf boards or the bikes.

Beautiful accommodation, well-equipped kitchen, and super friendly owners. Thank you for letting us borrow bikes and especially surfboards for free. We had a great time :-)

The place is clean, well-organized, and aesthetically pleasing. The location was a major factor in my decision to stay, as it’s quite central to a couple of beaches and other touristic spots (e.g., ryugu and perry road). The owners and staff are genuinely warm and welcoming—I can’t express enough gratitude for their exceptional hospitality!

I was alone at the hotel because I was traveling in the off season and it was like the big hotel was my home, I really loved it. I chose it completely by chance but I really loved the beaches and places nearby. I think I will come here regularly now. Also, the owner is a very kind person, he dropped me off at the metro station on a rainy day and bought me a onigiri🍙. I can't tell you how happy I was when I left here. Thank you ♥️

The place has a couple of e-bikes that you can use for free, and they were really great--they allowed me to bike several kilometers each way, either back into town by the train station, or down the road the other way to visit other beach areas or a beach cave. I really appreciated that the bikes were free to use! I loved the full kitchen and that my room had a table desk so I could set up my laptop there.

(the e-bike I used DID need to have the brakes tightened, so I hope the owners will do that for safety) I stayed three nights, on a weekend, and twice it seemed like a rowdy bunch of people stayed in the big multiple-bunk room, arrived late and were a bit noisy.

Beautiful place very close to beach. Bike and board hire included, very helpful and friendly. Will be back for sure

Facility is nice and clever. It was not only owner but one family. I felt not alone. Beach and nature is fantastic. Nothing’s missing.

All
