A convenience store is literally next door. Two train stations between 3 and 10min walk. Enoshima is a 15min walk and Kamakura less than 1hr walk. The staff is kind. The bed unit is big enough and comfortable. Clean toilets and showers.

I stayed in the women’s dorm and really enjoyed my time at IZA Enoshima Guest House and Bar. The location is super convenient—just a short walk to the train stations, the beach, and Enoshima Island. Plus, there’s a 7-Eleven right next door, which was really handy. The place was clean, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Free Wi-Fi worked well, and while the amenities were pretty simple, everything I needed was there. The staff were super friendly and easy to talk to, and the bar downstairs had a really nice vibe—great spot to relax and meet people in the evening.

The wallpaper behind my bunk bed could be replaced, there were some unpleasant stains.

It was right in the center of Fujisawa/Enoshima and only a short walk from the station as well as Enoshima Island. The host was nice and spoke enough English to communicate properly. Overall the facilities were clean.

I had a 6 bed room and 4 people were ill. The whole night was loud - Coughing, clearing the throat, sneezing, and someone constantly leaving the room. Very unpleasant. And payment for the first a towel isn’t unusual

There are no lockers in the room to put the valuables in!! I think this is a must to have in a hostel. There is also no real kitchen or lounge area to spend time. They provide a fridge, microwave and kettle in the corridor though but the ‘lounge’ is in the official restaurant

The staff is really very friendly and it is centrally located. The female dorm is quite spaceious.

Moldy walls in one shower room. No common area to hang out other than the cafe. The miniscule kitchen doubles as bathroom/hallway/shoe locker and back entrance and even though there is a cute little fridge, mini-grill, and microwave, there is no cutlery or cookware and only a few glasses and cups and 2 small bowls. So really only useful for quick heat&eat or microwaving packaged foods. Also there is a big charge for not checking out before 10am and guests are not allowed to use the mini kitchen after 10am. Plus fee of 220 yen to store a bag.

Cute little hostel near the sea on quiet pedestrian shopping street. Great location between two train stations. Staff great especially Kosaka was friendly. Hostel also has cafe on ground floor with small selection of reasonably priced food. Guests get discount too. Very comfy beds and good privacy.

The walls are very thin, and you can hear other people very easily. The toilets could get more attention to keep clean. The bedside light and desk light were broken in the room.

Standard of cleanliness in general was below what you usually get in Japan - However the beds were particularly bad, I noticed my allergies were acting up and I had to take my medication - in the morning I was checking to make sure I had everything and was really shocked by the amount of dust and debris down the side of the mattress.

Keep in mind that there are really strict with the check in times and also with the check out. Read everything carefully so you don’t get in trouble or to pay anything extra.

It’s very beautiful and the location is great close to the beach. The Enoshima island and the station for the beautiful Kamakura train is also in the same street. So you can do many daytrips. The hostel is amazingly clean and comfortable. The bar has good offers and there a many nice eating spots close by
