Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing - the hotel is spot on
Great hotel, literally seconds away from Akihabara station. Room was spacious with FANTASTIC views (as seen in photo - that was the view from my room) into Akihabara. I stayed with my Son and we had two single beds and there was more than enough room for two suitcases, and loads of merchandise which we'd collected over the course of our two week trip. Airconditioning in the room was brilliant - took the room temp down to a frosty 17c when it was 35c ++ outside! Free tea & coffee facilities in the lounge. Washing machines and dryers on the third floor (SUICA card or cash. 400 Yen for washing which includes liquid cleaner and 100 Yen per 30 mins for the drier). Convenient for Henada airport too; 3 stops on the "green line" then onto the monorail. Took about 50 mins in total. Will certainly stay there again if I'm lucky enough to visit Japan again.

Hong KongThe room size is quite large compared with other hotels in Tokyo. However there’s not much room to move around with a queen size bed in the middle of the room
Just next to JR Akihabara Station. Very convenient. Cleansing kits, bath salts, and facial care products are available for free. The bathroom size is large and with a deep bathtub so you can have a relaxing SPA after shopping for a whole day.

United StatesThe bathroom uses a lot of space. For me it may be an overkill but it is perfect for people who enjoy taking a shower outside the bathtub then soak in the bathtub to relax. The wall of the toilet has minor stains and the design of the wall (textured and with some shiny flakes) makes it difficult to be cleaned and to be noticed. Otherwise, no complaints!
The best location right next to Akihabara Station. The room has enough space and just like a modern Japanese studio apartment. While the room says “separated bathroom and shower” may sounds misleading, the room does include one toilet and one bathroom. They are just individually separated and which is a common modern Japanese residential layout. The lobby is on the 2nd floor, and it has access to the Jonathan’s family restaurant next door, which opens until 3am! In conclusion, the hotel is very convenient and modern and worth the price!

United StatesThere were no drawers to put our clothes, only a few hangars on a clothes rack. Would be nice to have a few drawers, for example a nightstand could fit between the beds. Also the beds were not that comfortable (especially compared to the beds we just stayed at Hotel Vischio by Granvia in Kyoto were much more comfortable).
The staff was very helpful, we had 3 rooms and were able to have them close together, and the rooms were clean. Really like the foaming soap in the bathrooms (we do not like bar soap). Also the dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were excellent. The extra dyson fan was great, very nice to have in the room. Super convenient to be next to the train station.

SingaporeLack of drop-off area may be inconvenient for travellers traveling by car or taxi. Entrance/exit to the hotel is rather narrow and easily missed as it is surrounded by NewsDay and the train station. Layout of rooms is odd, with some rooms’ bathroom windows overlooking at train platform and tracks.
Fantastic location located right at the exit of Akihabara’s Electric Town South Exit. Steps away from the mecca of anime and electronics. NewsDay is on 1F, with Famima, Lawson, 7-11 all within walking distance. Separate washing area and bathtub is thoughtful.

CanadaAlthough rooms in Japan are usually small, my wife and I felt this room was the smallest. It was harder to pack before our trip back home. Either ask for a double bed room or make sure you are aware that these rooms are pretty small.
Very comfortable beds. Great location and easy to find. You are about 10 steps from the JR station. Great spot to grab breakfast and hop on the train to visit other spots in Tokyo. The night is very lively with many shops closing later.

CanadaIf you are sensitive to noise, you might hear the train station announcements. I quite enjoyed listening to them… I almost miss it now that I have left
Location couldn’t be better for my hubby and 6 year old. Claw machines and gachapon and konbini within steps of the hotel entrance.

United KingdomStayed here for our first few nights in Japan. Great location in Akihabara, literally 2 mins from the JR station. The rooms are small compared to UK and US standards but they are cosy and you'll be fine - more than two suitcases would be a struggle though. The decor of the rooms and hotel is also great, very modern, and the amenities are top standard (Dyson fan and hairdryer?!). Would stop here again!

1. Location: lots of different train lines available at this station, means you can literally stationed at this hotel to travel anywhere you want. Get to rent baby pram via hotel or even from convenience store below. 2. Food options: too pampered with too many options all around 3. At times the staff may forget to replenish the daily amenities supplies though can request and the staff will supply immediately 4. Package comes with breakfast gives coupon which we can redeem Starbucks coffee or food with value up to 1,400yen or can redeem Jonathan’s breakfast buffet.
