FranceThis is really minor and did not affect my stay in any way, but the self check-in system was a bit awkward. There are 2 machines with actual humans helping you operate them. Plus on the machine there is a screen with an actual person speaking to you in a FaceTime-like style. So in total there were 3 people helping, I don't see how that's more efficient than just talking to 1 person behind a counter...
I was a bit worried about noise, especially knowing the hotel is located right above the JR station, but it was one of the most quiet hotels I stayed at during my stay in Japan. The hotel seems to have been refurbished fairly recently so everything looked clean and modern. The bathroom had a bathtub which was unexpected and really nice. A new water bottle was given everyday. The neighbourhood is bursting with restaurants and bars and is very lively.

United KingdomLocation is great. Koenji is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Tokyo and it's right next to the subway. The room is compact but it's comfortable and has everything you need. I also had to work while I was there and the desk is well set up for working.

AustraliaThe hotel was overheated. This was a problem for us generally when indoors during this stay in Tokyo (travelled in November 2023 which was apparently unseasonably warm) and does not seem particular to JR Jets East Koenji. We had to put the airconditioning down very low to maintain a reasonable environment for sleeping.
This is a great value hotel for the price. Staff are very helpful. The rooms are quite small which in my experience is characteristic of anything but luxury hotels in Tokyo but despite this there are so many things to like. It is in a lovely neighbourhood and so convenient for transport being right next to JR Koenji station. The bed is very comfortable, the rooms are very clean, there is a good bath and shower and the breakfast at Denny's has the choice of Western or Japanese options and at 770 yen is terrific value. It's great having free coffee and bath products in the lobby and these are pretty good quality. Despite the hotel's warning that there are noisy roadworks in the area, we could not hear a thing and the room was quiet and restful.

Excellent location. This hotel is very well connected to key areas of Tokyo. The hotel staff are very warm and accomodating. The room service staff are topnotch. I will definitely book in this hotel on our next trip. There is literally a big Tokyu Supermarket next to the hotel where you can get GOOD FOOD and other necessities.

AustraliaThe hotel is located right at the train station in Koenji. The motel was modern. The rooms were a good size. Although the staff had little English the were super helpful and polite. The cleaning staff were excellent. Our rooms were made perfectly each day. Breakfast was within the building at Denny's (an American food chain). Breakfast was good with a variety of eastern and western food.

Second stay within two weeks since we use Tokyo as our 'base' to explore Japan. As our first stay was, this second showed the hotel very clean, comfortable, and well-located. Looking forward for our third stay in two weeks.

TaiwanAlthough we had a mild allergic reaction after our first night, the staff quickly changed the room for us the next morning. Thanks to the staff who worked at 9/25 afternoon and 9/26 morning!
The location is really good. The hotel is located in the building above the subway station. The hotel is also near by the shopping street which included restaurant, drug store and supermarket. The price is affordable for staying several nights here. The staffs were willing to help when we had problems.

CyprusThe single room is quite small, but enough for a tourist, coming only for sleep.
Nice hotel, very convenient location, right at the station (and it was quiet, I didn't hear trains at all). It is also in 10 minutes by train from Shinjuku station. There are hotel dressing in room and various amenities at the reception. The staff was also very nice and helpful (they provided me with additional pillows and network adapter, and let me keep baggage after checkout).
