Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanIt's a bit removed from the city, even though it's right by the Yurakucho line's Shin-Kiba station. It's very conveniently located for those who have business in Odaiba though, like Big Sight in my case.
Brand new stylish rooms with fancy appliances such as massage pillow. Select rooms have a deep window you can seat in: I think they call it a "room with a bench." The breakfast is quite good and looks like they also have evening happy hour. The cafe area has tables with power sockets so it's pretty work-friendly as well

AustraliaIt would score 10 except you can't open the windows for fresh air. Very unhelpful male staff member at check in. I had sent a suitcase in advance. He told me it hadn't arrived and unhelpfully made no suggestion to follow up. When I produced the receipt, a female stadd member quickly found it in the luggage room.
My second stay there. Large very comfortable twin room in as new condition. Very close to Disney, only 2 stations on Keio line. Easy to control room temperature with individual control. Free coffee in the lobby. Although not the closest combining, there IS a 711 not far away.

MalaysiaThe room size (but it is compensated by good service of this hotel)
I recently stayed at this hotel near Shinkiba Station and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and facilities. From the moment I checked in, the hotel staff at the counter were incredibly polite and helpful. For instance, upon my late-night arrival from the airport, I needed an iron, and one of the staff members promptly delivered it to my room, a gesture I deeply appreciated. The room itself was impeccably clean and offered a unique view of office buildings and the commuting trains, thanks to its proximity to Shinkiba Station. Despite its close location to the bustling station, the room was remarkably quiet and peaceful, allowing for a serene retreat after a busy day. One of the main reasons my wife and I chose this hotel was its convenient location near Disney Resort, just two stations away. However, our experience went far beyond expectations. The breakfast was just fine even though we have very strict diet of no meat and alcohol. The only minor drawback was the room's size, which was on the smaller side. However, this is quite standard for hotels in Tokyo and was easily offset by the excellent service provided by the hotel staff. Overall, our stay was delightful, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service in Tokyo.

Hong KongBed was a bit hard.
The room was very efficiently designed, quite clean, has smart TV. The location is close to the JR station and the metro Yurakucho line. The room is also quiet. While we had little interaction with staff, when we did they were very pleasant. Wifi was strong.

New ZealandLike most hotels in Japan, they did add the charge for a child staying in the room. 7 year old is not an adult, so that was annoying, otherwise all good.
This was the most convenient hotel of all the 5 hotels I stayed in Japan on this trip. Check in was quick and friendly, the room was very clean, and the soundproofing was superb. Very close to the train station, has a 24/7 shop on the ground floor, and a neat restaurant.

CanadaWe stayed here for 5 nights, as it was close to Disney and Kidzania. The location is super convenient, staff was very friendly and the rooms were spacious. We accidentally left our e-reader in the room after check out and the hotel emailed us right away. Luckily we were staying in another JR-East hotel chain in Tokyo and they went above and beyond to bring the e-reader to us. We are blown away by the service provided and cannot express enough how much we appreciated their help. We were already very satisfied with our stay, but this made us even happier that we stayed here. The staff at the convenient store on the first floor is also amazing and always super friendly. Highly recommend this hotel!

They provide bath powder and coffee at the lobby. There is a convenient store at the first floor quiet convenient. The breakfast is good, you can try different Japanese food, dessert and tea at the same time and yummy. Recommend for people who visit disney, it just only two stops away cost 6mins and the hotel just close to the jr station. There is a hotel direction sign for this hotel, so it’s easy to find.
