Beautiful location, wonderful host, clean and comfortable room. Host gave tips on places to visit within the area and had a booklet filled with things to do as well as a map for the area which was very helpful. Host also provided snacks and little extras such as towels toothbrush, razor, tissues, bottled water and tea. Had an amazing stay here and would recommend it to anyone going to koyasan.

Honestly there's nothing I didn't like about my stay.

Very comfortable accommodation for a great rate. Tommy was quite accommodating and communicative.

Great welcome from the owner. Very comfortable room. Convenient for all the sights of Koyasan. Bus stop and parking 2 minutes walk away.

Very clean, great location, attentive and friendly owners.

Breakfast, this is family operated business. Breakfast next door is delicious, superb cakes homemade by owners wife. Cool hummus sandwich with egg on side and a fruit. House guests have 20% discount, we eat a lot. Carrot cake is s must:) House is renovated, wc the newest typest, super clean. Cup ramen and snack for free in the room, kettle to make tea, tea was there as well. I stayed there second time and I want to return.

I am frequently traveling and there is no single thing I can complain about. Tommy is fine in every meaning.

We stayed at a family room and it was big enough for the 4 of us. The beds in the bedroom were really comfortable. The room clean and bathroom well equipped. It is a bit outdated but everything is really well maintained and works perfectly! The free snacks and water were highly appreciated. The host is truly very kind and gives good advice on what to do - for free! For breakfast we recommend the cafe of the same owner. We recommend staying here instead of at at temple.

The room was super clean and the information provided by Tommy was amazing (restaurants, events spots, etc), it is really convenient, I highly recommend this place

It was a very pleasant experience staying at Guest House Tommy. It was clean, comfortable and is in a great location. The staff were friendly and gave us helpful information about where to eat and things to do in the area. Tommy’s Cafe offers a delicious breakfast. It’s nicely decorated and the owner are super friendly.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and comfortable. They were very kind and patient. The room exceed our expectations. It was super clean, had free snacks, and was more than enough room for two people. The cafe downstairs was perfect for a quick breakfast.

There was not anything that could have been better. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Great location and good value. Beds were simple but comfortable. Free ramen cup and snacks were a nice touch.

There was something wrong that caused the room to be very humid. It was so humid that my phone didn't change overnight, and the bathroom mirror was fogged over. It caused a strange musty smell that wasn't very pleasant. We were only there for one night so we didn't follow up with the owners on this, as it happened right before we left. I didn't see any other reviewers have this issue, so maybe it was a one-off for us?

The mattress was very hard

I stayed in the double room apartment with the balcony, and it was absolutely lovely! Super comfortable bed, lovely quiet location, a 30 second walk from the bus station, and within easy (flat) walking distance to everything else in town. Tommy was a very friendly and helpful host, with lots of advice about what to do in town, and even had a little flip book of activities/locations with maps included that he left on a table near the entrance. There were free cup noodles, snacks, and bottled water left in the room, and clean towels (and extra snacks!) delivered after two nights stay without having to request them, which was a really nice touch. I loved my stay here, and will definitely be returning next time I'm in town :)

Great location, the room was like new, clean and well equipped. Tommy is very nice and gives best advices on activities in the area. Tha cafeteria opening at 8 is also great.

The location was perfect. Very walkable to many sites and restaurants. Tommy Nana Cafe was wonderful! The food was delicious and was lovely to be able to talk with the owners while dining.
