Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything is a bit old in the apartment, the kitchen is dirty and a bit smelly. The wifi didn’t work and the staff didn’t answer our inquiry of the wifi.
The location is interesting, not really far from the train station and a bit isolated.

The cleaning could be a little more thorough. There was food from the previous guests (we assume) in the kitchen sink, and the bathroom could have done with a tiny bit more. But overall it was good. The walls are thin in general so you can easily hear people going up or down the building, and if they're being noisy above you you will definitely hear it.
The host/staff was really friendly. Check-in went really well and the property had parking which was amazing. We got a bigger apartment than we had booked which was an amazing plus. The location is great, 10-15 minute walk to the station and easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, and everything you might need.

The location is a bit far from the train station but at a quiet neighborhood room itself was not very clean and so was the shower room
The place is very nice and owner is friendly and reaching him is very easy. . The room had everything we needed, a lot of space and good Wi-Fi. The beds were fine, the. Very nice value for money, but it is not for everyone.

Very simple room, not much option to hang stuff, empty walls, very soft mattress but very hard pillow, and unfortunately we experienced very disrespectful neighbors above our room who started jumping and tramping between 6-8am in the morning with no further good sleep possible.
Very spacious room, with amenities like washing machine and detergent included. Good distance to main station and still rather quite, close to a mall with supermarket and food stalls.

The flat we have rent was not very clean, many kitchen tools missing. The neighbors were a bit loud at night. The staff was not very available. The bicycle were not working well.
The place was well located nearby the city centre and the train station.

Room has a kitchen where you can make food, but no chair/table where you can sit and eat it. Walls are very thin, can hear your neighbors even if they aren't loud.
Close enough to the train. Friendly manager. Everything works.

The sofa seat kept becoming loose and slide on the floor. The body wash or shampoo bottle was empty initially, though I'm sure they would have offered to refill it :) I also do not think that the hot water heater by the metal washing basin was functioning.
The location was decently convenient near Okayama station, Aeon mall. The manager who checked me in was also extremely friendly and even offered a ride towards Korakuen.

It could use a bit more cleaning, the surfaces were a bit dusty.
Location is pretty good, it is close to an Aeon mall which is convenient esp if you want to buy essentials. Also close to Okayama Station! Staff was warm and very welcoming when we checked in. We like our room, the beds were comfy. The room amenities were also great as it has a microwave, fridge, and an electric kettle. Very very convenient. And it has a TV too.

Floor was a touch dirty, no hand soap for the sink after the toilet and no dih soap to wash any dishes. Had a whole kitchen set up with microwave, kettle, little stove and sink but no dishes or cutlery to use.

The area doesn't have many food places around, and was a bit far away from the station although easily accessible by bus.
Convenient location and helpful staff - i arrived late for check in but the staff was responsive and texted me all the instructions through booking and SNS. Comfortable room overall.

It gets a bit dusty inside.
The location is very convenient as it's close to a mall, and the Okayama station. It's quiet, comfy, and you get a lot of privacy.

Hot water on tap is abit slow to be heated - but not much affecting the stay, still very enjoyable.
Close to restaurants, shops, and convenient store. Heater in room is efficient and useful especially during winter nights.

Should provide more basic amenities like drinking cups, bowls or plates..even though not mentioned in booking details. A bit costly compared with other guesthouses we stayed around this region.
Informed of 5th floor but nice to check into a first floor unit. Very basic accommodation.
