The staff were amazing. The interior design very beautiful and at the same time comfortable. The services (Giant bike rental - well maintained, laundry, luggage storage, breakfast) were exactly what we needed for a good travel and ride. Thank you!

We were here to do the cycling trail and hadn’t planned anything but the lady in reception told us all the details and we felt so reassured. The staff were so friendly and helpful! The whole hostel was spacious and airy - lots of people in the dorm but you had room to move around. Nice bar area downstairs to socialise but it felt relaxed too.

We wished we could have an additional cup of coffee with our meal because the coffee was great. The breakfast set allowed for one cup only. Not a big deal but would prefer another option.

The staff and the space was welcoming and easygoing. The bed was super comfortable and our bathroom connected to the bedroom had a rain shower that I loved. The breakfast and coffee was simple and delicious. I liked that it was tucked away from the train station.

Lovely hostel! Very unique. Dorms were very spacious, comfortable and clean. If you are into interior design, you will love it! Great open floor reception/lounge/cafe area. Awesome coffee and very friendly staff!

Everything! The staff was beyond friendly and super nice, they helped us with everything from the very first day. Recommendations to do around, help with our bags, laundry, etc. ( Thank you Vivian!!) The place is a local gem, super well designed and chic. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was amazing a relaxing. Then in the morning we had coffee and breakfast sandwiches at the coffee bar by liminal coffee roasters, what can I say, Very nice drip coffee and the sandwich was delicious. Les and Masaki are super nice.

It feels a little bit out of town but really it is not a problem once you have arrived and situated yourself.

Was expecting more of a hostal feel and we were greeted with something that felt far more luxurious. Stylish decoration and very comfortable amenities with a toilet and sink in the bedroom which was unexpected. Also the showers and all areas were immaculately clean. The girl on reception was very welcoming and chatty. We stayed overnight before doing the Shimanami Kaido.

The staff weren’t very friendly. I got stuck somewhere overnight so I could only come back the next day to collect my luggage and they charged me for each piece of luggage.

The room was huge. And although it was advertised as a shared bathroom, it was only the shower that was shared, there was a sink and water closet in the room. The staff were welcoming. The location was great, away from the centre of town, but an easy walk. Breakfast was great, their red bean paste spread was amazing!!!

The window blind in the room failed to block early morning light resulting in early wake-ups.

Interior design of the property (lots of natural timber used in interesting ways), friendly and helpful staff + the in house cafe service and simple breakfast was delightful.

Very nicely designed hotel. Very large room. Kitchen for shared use. Nice lobby with interesting magazines and books to read and good coffee. Breakfast was tasty. Free laundry service provided!

Only thing that could have been better could have been an extra blind on the window. Sun rose very early it was light just before 5am.

Very spacious room, plenty of space to relax in. Staff were helpful gave a great recommendation for a 100 yen sushi train within easy walking distance.

Most accommodations look somewhat nicer and more spacious in the pictures, than in reality. I had the opposite experience with this place. The room was much more spacious than I had imagined, and really tastefully decorated. So comfortable and cosy. All the staff members were really kind and welcoming, including the couple that does the coffee and breakfast, both of which were delicious. The common area is also really nice and cosy. I will definitively choose this place again if I revisit Onomichi <3

The location is a *little* difficult, it's out the way of Onomichi's main attractions and restaurants, and walking there doesn't always feel like there are nice pavements. However, it's still not particularly far away..

Awesomely designed dorms and building, with solid facilities throughout. Very nice capsule like beds, extremely comfortable. All of this at great price point. Coffee roasters on ground floor who do great food as well! Slightly on the expensive side, but worth it. Staff were all very friendly

Quiet location 10 mins walk from the station. Fab coffee shop in house. Shower is amazing! Very comfortable bed but duvet was a tad too warm - sorry I am being really picky 😁 great banter from the kiwi on Front Desk. A great Ramen and a great pizza 😱restaurant right around the corner. The hotel was also really helpful in storing our luggage before we checked in so we could do the cycling ride and not have to worry about our bags. If you stay and check out and then cycle there will be a small fee
