Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThere was no bar… but saying that there were plenty in the streets below.
Very central hotel with only a hop skip and a jump to the Train Station. The Sauna in the room was pure luxury. The breakfast was excellent.

France- Windows cannot open, but it is often the case in Japan - To be very picky: Given the standard, it would be cute to provide complimentary welcome treats (but it’s not necessary)
- location is perfect, very close to everything you need (restaurants, shops, transports, the castle..) IMPORTANT- for the taxi driver, ask « Mitsukochi building » : the hotel is located in the 7-8F of this building - there is literally a taxi station in front of the building, no need to book in advance when you need one - room is very clean, spacious, comfortable - private sauna in the room, so nice - good quality for everything(towels, slippers, etc) - gym, very convenient - very helpful and nice employees at the reception (they can give restaurants rec) - there is a massage room where I had an amazing massage, it was perfect (thank you Nahoko!) I have not tried the breakfast restaurant so I cannot say anything about it

CanadaQuite expensive depending on your country's exchange rate. I probably would only stay here if I wanted a lux experience or needed a room for 4 people.
Very nice room for 4 people - uncommon in Japan outside of traditional tatami rooms. Felt very upscale. Sauna inside room was a fun experience (but unnecessary)

Very spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient, just above Mitsuyoshi mall and beside Okaido alley. Many restaurants to choose from around the hotel. It’s within walking distance to Matsuyama Castle. The breakfast was really delicious with great presentation.

United StatesIt’s on the corner of a huge building attached to an upper end shopping center which is fine unless you are looking for something more quaint. Could have used directions for the air conditioning/ heater in English as my Google translate would not read the backlit controller.
Spacious rooms. Clean and convenient location. Very nice breakfast that wasn’t too different for westerners. Good coffee. Staff was very nice and helpful. Very upscale and modern and not too busy.

FinlandNo laundry facilities, or if there was one it wasn't mentioned anywhere I could find. There was however a coin laundry a few blocks away which was very nice.
The atmosphere and vibe was very clean and kinda Nordic. Wooden floors! Room was very roomy, almost decadently so. One of the fanciest hotels I've been in terms of general atmosphere.

Singaporehowever, the location was hard to find as we drove, perhaps easier if you dont drive. the google map brought us round and round, mainly because the hotel do not have a huge entrance / lobby or drop off point, so we had so much problem locating. as we drove, we had to parked in the carpark diagonally across the hotel and then lug the luggage through a link bridge and to the 3rd floor of mitsukoshi and we didnt know how to go up to the hotel at level 8, we had to go round and round and finally went to level of the building and walked through some carpark on level 8 and found the entrance through the back.
location was great, right above mitsukoshi and so centrally located. the room was very luxe, we had a room so huge as we booked the room to house 3 adults. The breakfast was amazing and we loved it. the staff was so good and polite. however, the location was hard to find as we drove, perhaps easier if you dont drive. the google map brought us round and round, mainly because the hotel do not have a huge entrance / lobby or drop off point, so we had so much problem locating. as we drove, we had to parked in the carpark diagonally across the hotel and then lug the luggage through a link bridge and to the 3rd floor of mitsukoshi and we didnt know how to go up to the hotel at level 8, we had to go round and round and finally went to level of the building and walked through some carpark on level 8 and found the entrance through the back. and in fact, we wondered why cant the hotel allow us to just drive to level 8 of mitsukoshi dept store (where the other entrance of the hotel is) and parking right there, or perhaps let us know so we can drive right to level 8 and drop off my family members and their luggages. finding the hotel was a pain but other than that, i have to say eveything was so good, including the details like the bedroom slippers (so good, we stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world and non is like this) and their amenities bag is so pretty....
