Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaLaundry did not function very well - washing machine did a 30min cycle only and it did not clean the clothes properly. I had about 10 items of clothing in the dryer and it took 4 dry cycles (¥100 per cycle) and my clothes were still not dry.
The receptionist on night staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, he assisted me at 3am after a very long flight to check in and when i checked out assisted me once again and even offered me an umbrella for the rain which was very kind. The air con was controlled from within the room which was very useful and meant I could change it according to my comfort levels. Bed was quite comfortable as well, though the space was cramped with a suitcase it was pretty typical of tokyo accomodation

AustraliaThere was barely room to walk around the outside of the beds. 4x Suitcases on the floor also added to the reduced floor space available. Area was safe with a couple of train stations about 10 minutes away but there was nothing of note within a short walk.
Nice clean simple hotel. Room that slept 4 of us in 2 twin/double beds. Had own private ensuite.about 10 min walk to the station then 20 minutes on the train to Disney. About 20min walk to Tokyo station.

AustraliaNeeds to work on some aspects of house cleaning. I saw moulds and stain marks in the drains and sinks. Also there were moulds in the water reservoir in purifier and the filter wasn’t cleaned or changed.
Individual air conditioning in each room, you can control what mode you want rather than central heating . Ideal for travellers who can’t tolerate heating mode only in winter. Good location, close to metro stations. If you have big and heavy luggage, better use exit 4 where the elevator is.

TaiwanIn addition the room size, the bed size is also small for 2 people. It's very difficult for 2 people to open the luggages at the same time in room.
The location is near to Ginza shopping district, around 10 to 12 mins walking distance. Transportation to Haneda airport via Asakusa subway line is quite close, around 10 mins walking distance(Takarach station, elevator on A8 exit) with large luggages. It provides microwave in each room.

OMG!! The room was a smoking room that was so insane smelling because you cannot open the windows! I feel like i smoked a pack of cigarettes and I do not smoke. They had no other rooms. I should have looked for another hotel but I had no time! Do not get a smoking room even if you smoke its so insane! Kinda trashy hotel too but good location. I think its for business men looking for “ fun” has that vibe. You get what you pay for. Staff is nice but hotel is gross

GermanyWe booked two double rooms for a total of four people but were given two rooms with one single bed each. After asking if we could upgrade to rooms which would actually fit two people we were told that they were fully booked, even though we saw that they had available rooms on booking. We ended up going to a different hotel since there was no possibility of sleeping here.
