Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Statesmy room smelled a little like mildew and bad body odor. The shower smelled like mildew. The view from the balcony is more of a city view than ocean. The swimming pool area was disgusting. It was more of a 2 star hotel. The floors were flooded with water. I would not recommend the pool areas.
The outdoor onsen was fantastic! The toiletries w were great (face cleaners, wash towel, razor, lotion etc). I had the room w 2 full sized beds. It was a nice room. Spacious, floor to ceiling sliding glass door, the layout is great. The service is great

GermanyThe pools are rather small and just have a depth of 1,20m or 1,30m. Good for kids but not for proper swimming as an adult. But they have a small jacuzzi outside.
Very good location. Nice breakfast. Good onsen. Best money value. The location is convinient. With just a 10 min walk from the monorail its okay to walk with not too many pieces of luggage. Also there is a supermarket just next to the hotel and many restaurants not directly but around it. And the city is also very accessable. The onsen is neatly designed and has indoor and outdoor as well as a sauna. The staff was friendly but not overly. The breakfast has a huge variety to choose from and has a cook to make you some omurice. Also has shops inside the hotel gor souvenirs bathing equipment and convinience store.

GeorgiaIt's a quite big hotel, and staff is not very helpful (lot of customers with lot of issues.). There is one entrance for both towers, which makes uncomfortable to walk to SPA tower, as you have to go on second or third floor and then you have to use corridor. Location depends what you want to do, it was not very comfortable for us. In my opinion, best from what I see on the island is in terms of surroundings (bars, restaurants and so on) I think is the American Village. But if you need to stay in Naha, is place is not bad. For beaches you definitely need to got to Ona, as Naha and this part of the Okinawa is not best for water experience.
Room is very big if you compare to Tokyo hotels. Downstairs there is a grocery store, so you can grab anything you want till 10PM as I remember. There is a Japanese bath, which is something to see as it tis bit different from all type of bathes I've seen. You have to be totally naked, and man and woman bathes are separated.

JapanGiven the circumstances, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. They prepared a big waiting room with drinks during the checkin time to accommodate surge of customers who also couldn’t take their flights out of Okinawa. New towels and linens, amenities were provided daily as well (I wonder how the supply chain worked during the typhoon..). All the common area was kept very nice and clean. The hot spring was really healing during the crazy time.
We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights in total as we were stuck due to typhoon (all flights had been cancelled and couldn’t leave Okinawa). It was a crazy storm outside and some hotel staff must have had some concerns of their own home or family, yet they kept it very professional. I was very impressed with their dedication and care for customers.

IrelandIt was disappointing that outdoor swimming pool was not open during our stay in mid April. my daughter was really looking forward spending time in the pool. We end up spending hours I’m indoor pool on very sunny day.., but at least there was indoor pool option so she was happy Coin laundry was very expense and very inconvenient to access from the room. Breakfast was good for Japanese (I enjoyed it) but not great if you don’t like Japanese breakfast, very small choice of bread and some were stale… and strange choice of hot food for breakfast. Found it strange there was only one switch for room lights and was hard to find the switch. we had to call reception to figure it out.,.
Large room with separate bath and toilet. Clean and amenity was good. Loved Onsen, Really enjoyed.
