The pillow is a little bit too low to feel comfortable and the sound of the floor was so loud when anyone walk through the main corridor.

The cleanness of the property and the helpful hotel staff was very impressive.

Very traditional house, so the walls are thin. If guests don’t respect the quiet rules it is very easy to hear everything happening in neighboring rooms. I recommend ear plugs and an eye mask

Very easy to find. Staff was welcoming. Very cozy and had everything you need

No complaints at all — I was very happy with everything.

Even though it’s not the most convenient place for finding food, the guesthouse is quiet and cozy. Staying there really let me feel the charm of traditional Japanese countryside life. The host was warm and professional, which made my experience even better.

Make sure to bring some earplugs and eye-masks to enjoy a good night sleep in case you’re stuck with a snoring person!

Cute and pleasant place, tucked away from the main streets in a quiet location with kind staff and great facilities. Choose their recommended restaurant for dinner, everything was delicious (make sure to book in advance and ask to be seated on the floor for a true Japanese experience).

The walls were thin! The second night I didn’t sleep at all because there were children screaming much of the night in the room next door. I didn’t realize kids were allowed and this is not the fault of the property it was just tough.

Great location near Art stops and the bus! And great restaurants nearby. Very responsive staff when my lock broke!

Everything! It was lovely staying in a traditional Japanese room. The facilities were clean and the staff were really helpful and friendly. I was sad to learn about the cat’s passing (Jubei). Loved seeing all the cute sketches and mementos of Jubei Overall it was a lovely stay!

Location was great! It was walking distance to the bus stop and only 30 mins walk from pier with a few restaurants to eat around the area. The place exceeded our expectations. It was super cute and very clean. I appreciated the folks that work there. They were kind, transparent, and welcoming. Bonus points for there being a coffee shop right outside the place!

An old style guest house with quaint details. In the middle of the village. Very quiet. We used the free laundry service which was great. There was a common kitchen to use and also a living room for all the guests.
