Very conveniently placed place close to the port. The rooms were very comfortable and the host helped me a lot. The accomodation also runs a nice Izakaya where you can go. Would like to come again!

Great location. Meticulously clean. Comfortable bed. Simple breakfast provided. It's a shared house with the host and other travellers. Don't expect hotel services. Instead, respect, behave and communicate. The host is awesome if you follow her rules, which are reasonable.

It's a 5 minute (or less) walk to Tonosho port. It's a place to stay and restaurant. We enjoyed the Chinese food served there on one of our evenings there. Our room was clean and comfortable. The host was very considerate and works really hard to run her business which is service to her guests. It's really a great place to stay.

I reserved a room last minute and the owner welcomed me very nicely. She made it a very comfortable stay for me. I'm glad I made changes to my schedule since it gave me a chance to stay there. Highly recommend if you are traveling on your own for a quick cheap stay.

A place combined with hostel, restaurant and bar, close to ferry terminal and bus stop. It is cozy and well decorated with style.

It is hard to find things I did not like! It is a traditional Japanese restaurant with private rooms to stay. The host is very nice, helped me around the island, drove me with her own car to the nearby viewpoint and also shown some others. Do not be afraid to come in winter, because the AC in heating mode is very efficient.

Yoko was an exceptional host and was incredibly helpful, serving us a well balanced breakfast and going so far as to call us a taxi in the morning. Would highly recommend this ryokan for a stay.

Yoko is so lovely and helpful. The location is a few minutes walk from the port and the Olive Bus stop. It’s very comfortable and breakfast is included. A fantastic base for exploring Shodoshima.

Absolutely perfect stay. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Yoko-san the host was extremely friendly and went above and beyond in ways such as recommending locations to visit, to eat and to relax in the city, as well as driving us to the local onsen. Her food's really good too. Will definitely come back again if I visit shodoshima in the future. 非常感谢您对我们热心优厚的招待!!!!

Really good location, 5 minute walk from Tonosho port Communicative and helpful owner. Yoko San allowed me to store my luggage before check-in as well as after check out. She also drove me to Dofuchi Strait which saved me some walking time. The room is well decorated with cute bedsheets. Just make sure you have enough clothes as it's rather cold in winter!

Very fresh and helpful owner, its nice to communicate in Chinese. Clean and comfy room. Only one sharing toilet/bathroom, not a big problem during our stay. Convenient location, near the port.

Yoko was a true gem, keen to help with anything needed, she went above & beyond. Super clean, homely atmosphere, convenient to the port, buses & scooter hire. A very convenient base to get around the island.

Yoko was very helpful with information and correspondence. She organised for us to have diner at one of the small restaurant. their food was fantastic. We were able to leave our luggage there before booking in.

Me and my husband loved Yoko's place. The room was very private and the whole place was clean and comfy. We really enjoyed having breakfast there and the location on the island is perfect. Yoko helped us with information and was incredibly kind to us, understanding and welcoming. Plus she makes incredibly tasty food! Would really recommend!

Adorable place to stay. Traditional Japanese house with old but with extremely neat, tidy decoration and arrangement by the super nice and passionate host. An experience of living in Japanese household. It’s just like another home from home.
