The only criticism I have is that it is a bit of a walk from the train station if you aren't lined up or wanting to wait for one of the local buses.

The hybrid style of hostel accommodation of separate rooms but shared amenities I think works really well. The rooms themselves were super spacious and comfortable, great for a relax after a long day. The bathrooms were also very new, well kept and spacious! The staff were also super friendly and wanted to help out wherever possible! Also close to a supermarket aswell.

A little far out of town centre but I knew that when I booked. It's around 30 mins walk from train station.

The guest house seems very new, with a modern design. It is carefully furnished with quality fittings and kept meticulously clean. It seemed good value compared to other accommodation in Nakatsugawa when I was looking. Owners are very smiley and kind and make a real effort with everything. Modern and comfy rooms, sparkling shared bathrooms and a little kitchen if you want to cook something simple. It's next to a quiet road and on the other side are rice fields. There is a supermarket and some fast food places very nearby. A little bit further down the hill (maybe 10 mins walk towards town) there's a great ramen place called Orion.

I personally slept really well. However I understand the sound isolation is not very good there since another traveler had an issue with external sounds.

Everything new, clean, it has absolutely everything a traveler needs, friendly and helpful people.

Hotel is very clean and staffs are very helpful. At the back of the hotel is the Kiso mountains, paddy rice fields are around it, and a creek running in front of it. At night when you open the window, you hear frogs singing all around. There is a K bus a few yards away, it takes you to Nagatsugawa station, from there you can go anywhere. The rooms are tiny but have everything you need. If you visit that area, you won't feel regret to spend a few days there.

sadly already check out time 10 AM! i would have loved to stay longer. i remember back in the years check out time was 12 sometimes even 1 pm but japan is crazy with this. check in 15:00 and check out 10:00. who tf needs 5 hours to make up a room lol.

We loved everything about the property!

We loved this stay! The owners are so wonderful, so kind and so helpful! The beds are very comfortable and the room had everything we needed and more! It is quite easy to use the local bus which was handy. We are backpackers and expect to walk to locations and stations. It is a very easy walk to the train station of about 20 minutes. There is a big super grocery store right next store! Thank you

It's just 25 minutes walking from Nakatsugawa station. It also close with supermarket. The room was super comfortable. For all check in and check out process was done using tablet and you could choose your language, English, Japanese, Chinese or Korean. Overall, it was worth it 🤗.

It would have been nice if my bed had a pillow! But other than that the bed was so comfortable

Exceptionally clean rooms and spotless bathrooms and kitchen. Fast Wi-Fi. Comfy beds and really, really kind hosts. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They also very kindly provide you with a delicious lunchbox as there aren’t so many restaurants in the area but there’s a kitchen with complimentary tea and coffee and you can cook your own meals if you want. Good location - close to shops but also surrounded by rice fields and only a 30 minute walk from the station.
