Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. Everything was alright.
Handy to transport. The amenities in the room were excellent. The room was comfortable. Close to cafes and restaurants. Easy to walk around from the hotel.

Requested and got an upgrade to a corner suite for an extra GBP50 per night. Excellent room. Very comfortable. Great car parking lot next door.

The noise in the room. Not sure if it came from the elevator or the pipes. Sounded like a hissing animal🙁. Overall it was a great place at a reasonable cost.
A great view of Iwata mountain from the room. A range of dining options including good vegetarian food. The breakfast spread was excellent.

I was happy to see that most of the front desk staff were not wearing masks. The few staff members who were wearing masks should wake up. Overall, it’s a nice place.

Just the beverages sold in the hotel cafe were expensive.
location close to Morioka station. Kids loved watching the snow fall from the windows. Room service exceptional! And the meals were prepared well. Will definitely stay again if we visit Morioka. This is the best hotel I stayed in my journey in Japan.

There are TWO Metropolitan Hotels - one adjoins the train terminal and the Metropolitan New Wing is about 150 yards away. We arrived early and the staff at the other Metropolitan Hotel took our luggage and had them transported to the New Wing hotel.
Larger room size than expected. Although the hotel is rather dated, the rooms are clean and well kept. The hotel staff are very helpful. Breakfast menu selections were acceptable to us. The room charge including breakfast for our stay was very reasonable making it a good value. Lots of dining venues around the station.

All was fine.
The room was spacious. I asked for extra pillows and they provided them for me. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious as well. Personal at reception were very nice, they kept my luggage, charged my power bank and put something in the fridge for me after check out. Special recognition to a Brazilian guy in the staff. A very kind Japanese woman in the front desk even gave me an origami tsuru as gift. My warm thoughts for her.

As in many hotels right in the centre of a city, the room size was not large but the booking was made knowing this.
The location is very good, a few minutes' walk from the main station where there is also part of the hotel so that check-in can be done there as well. The hotel has a large welcoming lobby and provides several types of restaurants, very convenient if the traveller has had a busy walking day and doesn't want to seek a meal further away. The beds were comfortable although space in the room was very tight. Wifi worked well with a password. Breakfast provided a good range of well-prepared food. Staff were particularly helpful with information, storing luggage etc.

Initially disappointed that hotel did not include laundry facilities (when I really needed them), however, was given directions to a nearby, and not expensive, 24 / 7 laundromat.
Lavish well organized breakfast, ace location, helpful staff, generous sized hotel room.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was big for Japan and we loved it! Close to the train station, 7 11 and restaurants and bus stops. Loved the restaurant Momodori Ekimae Shokudo . Great little find with friendly staff, great food and an English menu! Thanks

There was nothing I didn't like. The hotel offered far more than I needed - there are restaurants and a large area to relax on the ground floor.
A very good location - very near the station. A large room with good amenities. A very good breakfast - eggs cooked to order and a very wide selection of food. A comfortable and clean hotel.
