A very nice place to stay. The reception was easy to find close to the train station. Can recommend going by the mall close by and getting fluffy japanese pancakes at the Happy Pancake cafe nearby 😁 The contact-less check in there was super easy. The apartment was super, big nice bath, a kitchen with fridge and freezer and a big sink, a decent sized bedroom with three beds, perfect for us three women, and a livingroom with a big tv.

We were a little confused upon check in - I had missed my messages about checking in at another hotel (about 5/6mins up the road. They were quick to respond to my messages and we got there in the end. Make sure you check your messages before arriving - you'll need a code from them to access the hotel front door and a code for your room too, and you will need to go to another hotel to check in. This is an unmanned hotel.

This place was very spacious and clean. We felt very comfortable once we had settled in. Love the fact that they replenished bottles of water for us everyday.

Location, size, amenities, the apartment layout was fabulous! The dryer in the shower room and washing machine really helped us out.

Convenient location in quiet residential area near JR Station

Plenty of pots and pans for cooking, no plates on which to serve food.

Large, self catering accommodation 10 minutes stroll from Kanazawa JR station. Clean property, good bathroom heating for colder days. Shower over bath wets all the bathroom. Efficient washing machine. Separate bedroom; adjacent to large lounge; lounge area could be used for additional guest- Japanese bedding in cupboards. Good quality towels, although Quilt covers were thin and threadbare, need replacing. Kitchen with stovetop, small fridge freezer, self catering, cooking utensils.

Layout of the space was great. I liked the separation of living vs kitchen. Having the toilet and shower/sink separated was convenient with several people staying together. Extremely clean! Very spacious. Having a washing machine and drying line was great! The bath/shower room has a fantastic fan/heating system so you can easily dry your clothing overnight. One of my favourite hotels in Japan so far. Easy 8-10 min walk to train station. Easy walk to most attractions. Great cafe just a few doors down. Kitchen was well stocked with what you need for an easy meal.

There was some confusion on my part, no fault of the hotel, about checking in. The Neon hotel itself is unmanned so you have to check-in at the Kanazawa hotel which is right next to the station. However the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and polite when I did get there.

Location close to Kanazawa station. Self contained apartment. Very spacious. It was nice to have a fridge and cooking utensils to be able to make dinner for a few nights as we'd been eating out at restaurants for a while already. Great supermarket very close by too.

The pillows were very firm, but that is just a cultural difference. Helpful to know though if you need a soft pillow.

Beautiful apartment in a great position - central to all interesting sites/shopping etc We wanted to live there! Lovely cafe with great coffee 20 seconds walk away, and plenty of dinner options close by.

The room was an interesting combination of western and Japanese styles - a great introduction to Japanese style (tatami mats, shoji screens), but we found the bean bag chairs were not comfortable for an extended period.

Interesting and delicious bento box breakfasts delivered to the room. The hotel was quiet, excellent location.

Easy check in process, close walk to the train station and Omicho market. The design of the hotel was beyond expected and executed perfectly. We loved that the space was very family friendly. There was plenty of space for my toddler to roam and play and it made it very comfortable to just relax at the hotel, making it hard to leave. Will definitely be thinking of making Neon hotel a must go for our family every couple of years.

The pillows were hard and very thin, there was only one bean bag to sit on, would have been good if there were a couple of chairs and a table, all the instructions were in Japanese and the directions to find the place could have been a bit clearer and the breakfast was delivered every morning and it was a Japanese breakfast which was fine but a variety of what was in it would have been good

It was very quiet and the beds were comfortable and it was very private and it has a washing machine which was handy. It gave you an example of what a Japanese house would be like.

The space was close to several tourist attractions, a supermarket, and multiple bus lines. Facilities were clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Was able to wash clothing and reset for the week in a relaxed setting. The space is an apartment with amenities, rather than a hotel room. so make sure that is what you want. Definitely recommend for someone who wants a better feel for living in the area.

You have to enter the door codes exactly as written on the instructions. With star or hash.

The room was like a small apartment, very modern and clean. On a quiet street, about 10 minute walk from the station (faster with a taxi). The bedroom was separated from the living area by a sliding door and there was also a separate small kitchen and shower toilet area with washing machine. We had little interaction with staff. The robes were appreciated. Would definitely go back.
