Huge room with plenty of space for kids to play. Regular cleaning provided every other day. Room equipped with fridge, microwave, tableware, and pots/pans. There is a supermarket and a convenience store around the corner.

The staff at this hotel were all very friendly and helpful. Based on the hotel’s advertisement, we expected an overall experience that reflected the distinctive hospitality style often associated with Japanese service. However, that wasn’t quite the case here. Most of the guests were international travelers rather than Japanese tourists, which may explain why the service style felt more international than uniquely Japanese.

This was my first time staying at a MIMARU hotel in Japan. The room was spacious enough for the three of us, and the separate bathroom and shower areas were especially convenient for a family sharing one space. The room was clean and thoughtfully designed. The hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, which was a welcome contrast after spending the day in Tokyo’s busy, crowded areas. The nearby restaurants cater more to local residents than tourists, which added to the authentic experience.

The first impression of this hotel is the fantastic welcome you get from all the staff. They had a warm greeting and great local advice for everything we could need. The location of this hotel was perfect for us: connected to multiple metro stations and the main Ueno station but in a quiet area with a local feel. The room was large, clean and had everything we could need. It is a perfect, calm base for your stay exploring Tokyo.

This is our second time staying at this hotel, and 4th time in Mimaru in general. We love the Japanese apartments. Mimaru makes it easy for you to travel with the little ones. Many items can be borrowed to the room, from babies essentials (like baby chair) to children games. Extremely nice staff! Which is the cherry on top.

The provided cot for our baby was unusable - super flimsy, the mattress was like cardboard and the whole bed shook if he moved. We had to use the futons in the tatami room for his sleep instead.

Well located in a quieter district of Tokyo that is still very close to all the major sites via both the Ginza metro and JR lines. Staff are incredibly helpful and always greet with a smile.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly with directions and suggestions. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. No meals are included, but it is close to many food options. Also very close to Ueno station to catch shinkansen.

The location and facilities at this hotel were excellent. The rooms were spacious and made it easy to relax after a day of exploring Tokyo. The beds were comfortable. The best part were the friendly and helpful staff. One of our children were very unwell and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and went way above and beyond. We are so grateful for their help and will definitely stay here again!

Very chique apartments with a nice kitchen and huge bathroom. Love the interior design with the tatami eating area and gorgeous window panels. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff!
