The hosts were amazing, super friendly and welcoming. Never felt like I was intruding in their space. Also location was quiet but close enough to the city and expressways.

Mr. and Mrs. Yoshida were extremely welcoming and warm, as was their dog, Shuna. They made good recommendations and gave us a ride to an izakaya to make our trip more convenient. Please note that the house sits outside central Sapporo, but you can bike into the city or take a bus to the metro. In exchange, we cherished experiencing local life in Sapporo, including exploring parts where tourists wouldn’t otherwise visit.

My fiancé and I stayed for 3 nights here during the Sapporo Snow Festival and we had a wonderful time! The Yoshida family were lovely and considerate hosts throughout our stay. Yoshida-san took the time to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our time in Sapporo by suggesting places of interest, having conversations about our day, and always being ready to help us when we had a question or request. Plus, she makes an amazing breakfast! Thank you very much, Yoshida-san, for your kindness and for providing an enjoyable experience that we will forever cherish!

The only minor issue is location, as in it’s not central Sapporo. However, that is clear in the property’s description. Also, the hosts offer a service driving you to the local tube station, so the issue is mostly dealt with.

Rooms are nice and spacious, and the place is so cosy and homely. Full of character. The hosts are incredible, with a really cute, friendly, and well behaved dog. It is the hosts that made our stay so special. Also, they make their own Plum Wine and it is the best we have had in 2 months of our Japan travels. Both breakfast and dinner options were extremely tasty, as was the hosts’ recommendation for a local restaurant.

As a first time solo traveller, Masako, her husband and Syuna made me feel at home in their lovely place. The couple offered affordable car trips to Sapporo station and had many recommendations of things to do nearby. I rented their bicycle on one of the days and had a great time exploring Moerenuma park. The breakfasts were delicious, nice home cooked meals!

There is nothing we don't like! Everything was perfect.

Mrs. Yoshida is such a wonderful host! We enjoyed our stay with her. She made us sukiyaki dinner and went all out for us on our last day. Wonderful sashimi! Helen's grandson, Joey loved it and can't stop eating or telling us how delicious the fatty salmon was. We had a wonderful time with Mr. and Mrs. Yoshida. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness treating us like your family. Thanks again! Be healthy and all the best, Helen, Anna, Winston, Nichole and Joey

Masako is very hospitable, making my one night stay very memorable. I felt like home away from home. Masako took me and another guest to Onsen, it was truly an amazing experience for such a very good price too for the entry fees. Thank you, Masako for my wonderful stay, I wish I could stay longer. It is far from the center of town (1.5 hrs with bus and subway) however, the hosts exceptional hospitality and friendships made up for the physical logistics. I wasn’t in a hurry to be here and there so the leisurely pace in her neighborhood matched my personality and travel plans.

My room was quite spacious, bed very comfortable, warm and I liked I could open the window for fresh air and look out on the playground. The house has well-lived in feel and I appreciated all that was available to me. The garden was so pretty to look out at. The ikebana displayed throughout their home brought the outside in. I felt very comfortable in the hosts’ home.

    Honestly, none.

I travelled a lot but so far this is my favorite stay!! The owner is very accomodating 100%. The room and the bed is very comfortable. It is very quiet in there, I sleep so well!! I feel I'm in my own room. Everything is perfect! All you need is there, the bathroom is very clean! Free use of kitchen tools, free toothbrush, free use of towels, free use of soap, shampoo and conditioner. Better than my 5 star hotel experience (it's true. I slept so well here). The owner also cooks dinner for me and breakfast. Also free service to the train station. I am so happy I stayed there for my sapporo experience. The vibe in the guesthouse is very positive. I left the guesthouse with a grateful heart and a big smile.

A little far from downtown. You needed to take a bus to get to the train.

The B&B was a home like place to stay, like visiting your favorite relatives. The hosts were very comforting. The Japanese breakfast was delicious and their dog was the greatest. Only downside is that it is far from downtown Sapporo. The train makes it a fast trip.

The location is a nice area, however it does require about 40 minutes to get into/out of the town centre by public transport meaning 1.5-2h of your day will be occupied just by traveling to and from the BnB which is something to keep in mind. One thing to note is there's no AC in the rooms, however in the summer at least by keeping the window open the room stays at a comfortable temperature. Something some people may not like is that the bed is relatively stiff, I found it comfortable enough but it was definitely harder than some of the business hotels I've stayed in.

The couple running this B&B are very nice and can speak pretty good English. When I arrived and checked in the wife chatted to me and told me about some good things to do in Hokkaido and what sort of time (day/half-day trip) they would require, which was nice as I had only thought about doing stuff in the immediate area. They also offer a shuttle service to/from the main station and nearby airport for a fee, which I never had to use personally but was definitely nice to know that it was an option - especially for some of the early morning trips into the main train station.

It felt like a cosy home, not an impersonal hotel. Yoshida-san’s homemade meals were delicious and she and her husband went above and beyond to make my stay a comfortable one. There was a lot of good conversation along with travel recommendations during my stay. It was nice to stay in a quiet peaceful residential area, and their puppy was adorable too.
