The very steep staircase! And the bathroom is too small, but very nice to have a warm bath.

The location of this place is excellent! Near to shopping area. Surrounding is beautiful and peaceful. The house is comfortable with the basic necessities - washing machine, dryer, aircond, fridge etc, and with available car park just diagonally opposite the house. The owner was a very nice and responsive.

It's a 2 storey unit, so it means climbing up and down a flight of stairs.

It is close to the miyagawa morning market. They were very helpful and picked us up from the JR station. Also took us to yamato to send luggage to tokyo.

I like the tatami mattress and there were 2 toilets and 2 shower rooms which were very convenient for 6 of us. And free parking.

Our host Ruili, was charming and attentive. He even came to the station to pick us up which was a very pleasant start. The accommodation is very well appointed and immaculately clean. Location couldn’t have been better. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Takayama. Thank you Ruili!

The owner is super kind, we didn't expect the pick up but he had tried to arrange it for us even he was still busy on the date we've arrived. The room is big with 2 stories, 2 bedrooms. The location is not far from old town and just in front of beautiful scenic canel with many Sakura trees (but we were there in should season, so no luck to see Sakura by the canel. This room is super value for money.

Located in the heart of takayama city, it is very convenient to visit interesting spots within takayama city. The accommodation is spacious and very clean as well! The host seems to be an interesting person though we haven't been able to interact with the host during our stay.

The futon bed was a nice experience and very comfortable. The host was very helpful, and drove us to the apartment. Located a few minutes walk from the shrine.

If you are visiting Takayama, THIS is the place to stay! A comfortable and exceptionally clean space. Close to so many places to see and eat. The futon mats were the most comfortable we have slept on in Japan. It is set back from the road so the rooms are nice and quiet. The hosts went above and beyond expectations to ensure we were comfortable and safe. We got picked up from the station and unfortunately my little boy got a fever the second night. We rang the host to ask about a doctor and they took us to the emergency hospital and stayed with us the whole time. It was quite a scary situation being in a foreign country, but having her there helped us feel safe and supported. Words can't express how grateful I was to our hosts that night.
