Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe room was a good size and had a very good-sized desk to work from. The hotel in general was a comfortable space to be in, especially the lobby area. Loved the onsen. The restaurant satisfied both Japanese and Western food cuisines for breakfast and served up good Italian food too. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

IndiaTwo things (though I gave them full marks anyway since everything else was so good). 1. The ceiling lights are awful. Harsh spotlight aimed directly at the bed, whose idea was that?? Couldn't use it and had to manage with the bedside lights. 2. Very little storage. The tiny closet space has five hangers but no shelf. One bedside table has a drawer containing a safe, the other one is just solid with no drawer. There's a pair of small shelves but they contains coffee cups, ice bucket etc. Just a little more space would have been so useful.
Neat, pleasant hotel, reasonable price, perfect location next to Kashiwanoha station. Everything worked well and the staff were super helpful. Room cleaning was daily and impeccable. There is a great onsen to unwind.

United KingdomHotel is beautiful. Rooms are huge and spacious, bed comfortable for Japan standards, peacefully quiet, breakfast well stocked, staff were lovely. The onsen was very nice, indoor and outdoor, and they have a good selection of shampoos and conditioners. Will book again for sure.

United KingdomWe liked everything. One comment only that there was not an insect screen on the balcony door and foreign guests may be advised not to leave the door open long.
My sister and I had a twin room with balcony for 5 nights. The hotel has excellent location for transport and shops. The rooms are well equipped with lots of useful accessories. The lobby area is very attractive and comfortable . The staff were most helpful and efficient throughout our stay. We had a very nice breakfast in the cafe every day. We really enjoyed every minute of our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

United KingdomIt would be great if there was a hotel bar. Travelling for work often means that you work long hours and dont really spend anytime in the hotel. It is always great when there is a bar for you to go to after work that is open until 11 or 12pm, so you can unwind before you go to sleep.
Mitsui Garden is always a firm favourite when I travel for work in Japan. It's clean, comfy, bigger than most hotel rooms and has a very nice environment. In Tokyo the Mitsui Gardens are always a bit out of my price range, but this Mitsui Garden was reasonably priced for the night.

United StatesBreakfast not included, but there is on-site restaurant (about 1300 Yen for buffet).
Strongly recommended to me for my visit to IPMU. Great location - right next to Kashiwa station and about 10-15 min walk to IPMU. Very clean and nice room. Has public bath (onsen) in hotel, although I was too jet lagged to use it. Nice/helpful staff. Good value.
