We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesInstantly, I felt very welcome. The owner is a father of two young children who were very sweet, funny and curious. There is a bar and a ping pong table, which is really cool. He runs the bar and also gives scuba lessons! I highly recommend diving with him at the Blue Cave, it was an unforgettable experience. The facilities are well-maintained and there's a bohemian vibe. Honestly, perfect for everyone. I was a solo traveler but I met a family of 5 there too. I wish I stayed longer, but I know I made a good friend, so I want to return one day. ありがとう、せいやさん!

The host Nakano was the friendliest most helpful one I have ever met! Seeing as the hostel is a little far of the next supermarket he offered to take me there with his car, gave me nice tips where the coastline was most beautiful and not so crowded and the diving trip I booked with him was just amazing. It was my very first diving experience and I was quite a bit nervous but he made me feel absolutely secure throughout the whole dive and showed me so many great views it felt like mere minutes being down there. The room itself was spacious especially after Tokyo and there even was a small kitchenette. I can only recommend it!

AustraliaLocation - it won't be a big problem if you do self-drive travel and follow the navigation with Google map and Navitime and sign on the way (a bit small though but very clear). Room - Very clean. Not the most trendy/fancy design but deserves a shoutout for its cleanliness without a doubt. Possibly meet some insects like ants, however it's unavoidable considering its location. Staff - Super friendly and helpful. 10/10. We arrived and check-in before dinner, and got offered few restaurant options for us to select from; she even passed us a hand-written note on her recommended dishes in Japanese, so that we no need to worry about any troubles on menu translation or else. We had some issues on our car the next day, we drove back and asked for help. She understands our situation quickly and gave us instant help. Beyond that, she gave us a ride for lunch and let us stay at the lobby until issue was settled. Our trip won't be that smooth without her help.
