    New and very nice rooms

We booked a big room with a living room in order to meet with a friend there and have a chat. However our friend was not allowed to visit us. That was very disappointing.

We are a party of 8 and so we booked 2 lodges. Each lodge had 2 big bedrooms on the ground level, with 2 large bathrooms. On the upper floor, there was a big living area, a large dining table and a very well-appointed kitchen (not kitchenette). Had we known better of such a luxurious and well-appointed lodge, we would have done a cook-in.

The lodge was some distance away to walk to the main building which housed the public baths.

The full view of Mt Yotei from the living room sofa was amazing. The bed was super comfortable. Sufficient storage space for clothes too. Comfortable Samue was provided. There was free use of washing machine and dryer including detergent. Iron and ironing board provided too. The public onsen was clean and very enjoyable. Had a great time staying here.

    Nothing really.

miru exceeded our expectation in every way. from the get go, the front desk staff spoke good english and offered to help carry luggage as our room is on the second floor and theres no lift. maybe its the low season, or the hotel rooms are well scattered across the compound, generally hotel is relatively quiet and feels very zen. our room is clean, spacious, cozy. onsen is not big but beautiful, with an outdoor onsen overlooking the mountain. 🥹

The property was exceptionally clean and well taken care of. Would highly recommend!

Only thing that I'd take away points for is its location. It's not too far from the slopes and they provide a free shuttle there, but it would be nice to walk the main street where all of the restaurants are after a long day of shredding and be back at your hotel without having to wait for a ride.

    Staff excellent, food excellent

Only drawback is you need to time your visits into town with the shuttle bus. It doesn't operate at all times.

Great new hotel in close proximity to the Niseko resort. The hotel has very convenient shuttle service, and there is also a free shuttle that comes from the Grand Hirafu Welcome Center. Rooms are spacious, and beds are comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. There is an onsen and the ski room in the hotel.

Nothing I can think of. It would be nice to have a small gym in the hotel.

Location is perfect. Access to ski slopes by shuttle is easy. All staff did the best to please us. The venue and bedroom are very nice and pleasant for a stay. Amazing view and beautiful nature with a lot of snow!

It’s very spacious, beds are comfortable and cleaning was very on time. Shower was powerful and comfortable. The chalet has parking just outside so very easy if you hire a car to go to the skiing lifts.

There’s a constant bad smell coming from the master room bathroom. Downstairs is colder than upstairs which makes it hard to dry all the gears. We also found a couple of dead stinky bugs by the landing which is a bit concerning.

Very spacious, clean and comfortable with attentive and kind staff

Being out of town, it can be difficult to get to and from when your timing doesn’t line up with the hotel or ski shuttles (not running 6- 7 30pm). This is nobody’s fault, but can be annoying.

Great stay, brilliant staff, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Grand Hirafu with an excellent shuttle bus service that runs throughout the day. (There’s also a free resort bus that stops at the hotel too). Brilliant view of Mount Yotei

the views of mount yotei were amazing. having a nespresso machine was handy. being away from the madness of Hirafu was nice.

the bedroom wall was next the laundry and to some kind of utility room with machines making loud noises all night. after 4 nights of next to no sleep we dragged the bed across the room to the doorway and were finally able to get some sleep. room cleaning services were unpredictable, some days the garbage wasn't emptied, others they didn't wash cups etc, another day we came back to having no towels at all. one day we came back at nearly 2pm and they were about to clean so we left and when we came back they had not cleaned at. the weird bamboo pallets in the bathroom made it difficult to use the toilet as you nearly fall off the edge. there were also black hairs everywhere in the bathroom, including on my 'clean' towel (neither of us have black hair). it would have been nice to have a cooktop, multifunstion oven or some way of cooking food, instead of a kitchenette you get a weird second vanity.
