Food options are scarce. The cafe on the observation deck stops food service at 17:00, and the Chinese restaurant on the lobby level is super expensive. You’ll have to drive or walk to eat.

Great location if you’re taking the ferry to Sado or visiting Toki Messe, but not so convenient for walking around town. There is a free observation deck on the 31st floor, and the rooms are all above the 22nd floor and have great views as well. Parking in the underground hotel garage is surprisingly cheap and easy at 1,000 yen a night.

No fault of the hotel. Demand and supply mechanics, and us booking on a Saturday means much higher prices than usual.

Great great view. The place is nice but 15min walking distance from most restaurants. Friendly staff and a restaurant bar below with sake sampling. Plenty parking space.

Honestly, I can't say one bad thing!

The location, by the ocean, is great, and the view from the top is extraordinary. The room was clean and spacious and the morning buffet was terrific. We needed laundry service and it was prompt and expertly done. You'll probably want a taxi to get into town but once you're there, you can walk to your heart's content.

A little far from restaurants and night life. Not many eating options close by. (Apart from the markets, about 10 mins walk. They are great) Bed very small for 2 people.

Best location if taking ferry to Sado Island. Spacious room and bathroom is spacious too with shelves and baskets. Bathroom has a box of facial tissue, a dustbin and shower cap is also provided (lacking in most hotels).

Pros: Great view. Excellent breakfast. Early checkin (2:00 pm) and late checkout (11:00 am). Very spacious room, with comfortable lounge chair. A top sheet on the bed, and a huge bathtub. Cons: A long way from the train station (about a 25 min. walk), which is not good if it’s raining. The air in the room is very dry and you can’t open the window, so a humidifier would be helpful.

Top rated hotel with a nice water view. Enjoyable top floor to hang around with good city view. Not far from Bandai market with all kinds of food to buy & eat. Felt a bit restrictive during check in.

The room had a very faint smell of cigarette smoke. Not in the curtains or bed, but in the furniture and window frames. I assume it was converted to a non-smoking room some time ago and the smell has still not fully faded. Nothing major though, it didn't bother me (and I am very sensitive to the smell).

The view was absolutely beautiful and the staff very helpful.

Almost nothing.

The room was price worth, clean and beautiful view. The check-out staffs were so helpful, especially Bell-girl(?) named Satou-san. She helped me with my luggage. I have this business with the Korean Consulate in the same building in the morning, so I have to deposit(?) my luggage in hotel, and then I need to sent my luggage after because the changing plans and all of these with Satou-san's help. Her work motivations, clearly got me. Will be stay here again in the future.

The price is quite high

The place is astonishing, the view is gorgeous and to top that off its located exactly in the same building with exhibitions, embassies and other places. The room and bathroom are spacious. We didn't book in advance, were in a rush - they accommodated us with a reservation less than 36 hours before checking in.
