Reviews of Numazu River Side Hotel 4 stars

Perfect location! Only about an 11 min walk from Numazu Station, minutes away from the Nakamise Shopping Street and other main shopping streets. Also lots of restaurants and convience stores all super close. The staff were super friendly and nice and the hotel as a whole was beautiful and very fancy feeling but not to the point of being unwelcoming. Definitely will be staying here again!!

Not even a big deal but just some of the furniture in the room was showing its age with some chips and dents but overall was still all very serviceable and was in a great state otherwise.

Location and price were great

Very helpful and polite staff. The breakfast was excellent, with options for every taste (¥1,650 per person if paid the evening before). We also enjoyed the free Happy Hour drinks from 5 to 8 p.m., which was a nice bonus. Free bicycle rentals were a great touch and made exploring the area easy and fun. The location is fantastic — close to the ocean, with a beautiful river view from our room. Highly recommended for a comfortable and relaxing stay!

It was the best hotel I stayed at in Japan. The staff was very friendly. The room had two beds, so I used one to keep my luggage. It was comfortable and in an excellent area. If you're a fan of Yohane, this place is definitely for you. There's a room decorated with Yohane-themed items and Aikyan’s autographs. The surrounding area has many shops with Love Live decorations, and the hotel is right in front of Yohane’s house.

Friendly staff, jazz concerts, great location, window views - Suruga Bay and Mount Fuji visible at once!

The hotel is in the heart of the location and near the station. The river is beautiful especially at night. The harbor is only a short bus away or a 20 minute walk.

Old water two handle mixer made it a bit complicated to wash hands easily for the kids. Lots of dust behind the bed

Location is great: a 10-minute walk from Numazu station and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Amenities are what you’d expect from a Japanese business hotel. Standard, nothing fancy. Room isn’t large but doesn’t feel cramp. Decently clean.

Wall is pretty thin so you can hear people in the hallway.

The hotel room and staffs are very nice. The room is clean. The hotel is not far from the train station and Numazu port.

The room is a bit small

Great hotel in a good location between the ocean and the station. We stayed on the 11th floor which had a nice view of Fuji-san and the ocean too. Good size room with good facilities.
