The host are so nice and kind, location is very good, not far to the ski area, they also provide free checkin pickup and checkout dropoff service, room is super clean as well, has a fridge for the guest etc, overall pretty good exp !!!

Yoko san and her husband were very welcoming and helpful. They picked me up and dropped me off at the Rusutsu Hotel and Convention Centre on my arrival and departure date. My room was equipped with everything I needed.

Yoko and her husband were the perfect hosts and invested a lot of their time making sure we had a brilliant stay in Rusutsu. We share many a laugh together and they made sure we enjoyed our time there to the full! A fantastic experience with every day starting with a delicious cooked breakfast, tea and coffee. If it was cold outside, everyone morning when we left we felt warm on the inside thanks to our hosts making sure we were ready for the active day ahead. Lovely experience; we will be going back!

The internet can get pretty slow depending on what other people are doing on it. Not a big deal for my group but if you need to do an online meeting or the like then you might have a hard time.

Lovely little place near Rusutsu resort. This place is more like a guesthouse than a hotel. Honestly, it felt like staying at my aunt & uncle's house! The living/dining room is a common space for everyone to share, including the hosts who are always available if you want anything. No worries if you don't know Japanese as they are happy to talk in English with you. There's instant coffee, tea, hot and cold water always available (free). If you get breakfast, they will make you a proper cup of coffee. I found everything very comfortable, quiet, and clean.

Great location super close to Rusutsu ski resort, with free parking at the front of the house. Super kind and friendly host, and much much greater value for money than staying at any of the ski resorts around. Definitely 10/10 would recommend, and if I'm skiing around Rusutsu again next year, I'll definitely pick this place again without thinking.

The owners are super kind and nice! They pick up and send guests to the bus station and resort, with hot tea in the house that makes this place feel like home! Love it a lot!

The hosts were amazing and made the experience even better than expected. The breakfast was fantastic and I really enjoyed spending time with the hosts in the evening, learning about their culture and why they chose to host in Rusutsu. I would highly recommend staying at the Ohisama house if you plan to stay in Rusutsu.

Yoko-San and Kazuya-San are amazing hosts. Their property is a short walk from the Rusutsu Inn with lots of small restaurants and bars in between.

Nothing. It was an amazing week, and we'd definitely be back.

The room was spacious, and the natural lighting was amazing. Each room has a heater, drying rack and plenty of storage space for a 6 night stay. It had a great common area, with a nice wood fire plenty of seating for the guests to mingle. Super helpful and accommodating hosts, who helped me with a discount at the ski rental shop after I broke my skis. Was great to chat with them about their experience with the mountain and Rusutsu as a whole. All in all, fantastic spot!
