Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt’s a shame that there were not Sanrio touches in the bathroom (pictures or other things such as soap). They would not take much effort or cost. The staff could have been more welcoming and friendly. They didn’t have the “genki” attitude we were expecting in line with Sanrio. There are a lot of stuffed toys but there could be more interesting Sanrio displays.
Our suite - Twin Stars - had great beds and paintings. The Hello Kitty breakfast was good. The reception doubling up as a shop. It was nice to have memento keycards with our names.

United KingdomWe were in the end room and could hear the crossing constantly and the people in the room next door. Wi-Fi was only possible when stood by the door or in the corridor.
Theme is amazing and the staff are lovely.

New Zealand-We lived on the 3rd floor and the corridor smells a bit moldy and old. The room smells fine though. -The double bed is quite small in Okinawa standards. -There is no curtain in the room with only a white paper curtain blocking the window, woke up by the rising sun at 6am.
It was themed and I'm sure Sanrio fans would love it. Free drinks and ice-cream as welcome snacks. Close proximity to Kokusai Dori and Makshi Station.

ThailandThe room is not soundproof, and at night, sounds from outside are quite clear, including noises from the room above, such as walking or jumping (presumably by children). Guests should be clearly informed that after 10:00 PM, they should refrain from making noise. However, I informed the staff, and they helped move me to another room. I really appreciate it.

FranceThe room seemed quite basic for the price. The only tables were high but no chair was provided. It would be better to have a low table so you can sit on the ground to use it or chairs for the higher one. The view out the window was an electric pylon. There was nowhere to sit except the bed. We ate onigiri and snacks sitting on the floor with no table. They could have worked on the theme a little more in the room as the only character thing in the room was that one wall was painted. We could help, ourselves to ice jasmine tea, hot coffee or water downstairs. The only thing suitable for a child was the jug of water. I think a Sanrio theme hotel could offer a more interesting child friendly option. There was only one option for breakfast, a very meat heavy and not so tasty one of burger and two sausages. There was a sanrio picture on the cheese. We were excited to have a sanrio themed breakfast but I think it could have been done better. There could be another option, for example pancakes with sanrio pictures on or a tradtional Japanese breakfast of natto, fish and rice with Hello kitty printed on the seaweed etc. We don't eat so much meat, especially for breakfast so a second option would have been welcome. Also the restaurant area could be Sanrio themed for a more immersive experience. My daughter loved the hotel (but not the breakfast). I liked it but I think more attention to detail would improve the experience.
The reception area was amazing. There was a giant hello kitty and you could press a button and it moved and talked to the delight of my daughter. We got a free icecream token which was a tasty Mr Whippy type the staff prepare for you. There is a gift shop in the reception area and guests get 5 percent off. The lifts were decorated with sanrio characters and characters are projected on the floor with light. The view from the breakfast room was nice. You could watch the monorail go past and they even have a Hello Kitty one!

Singapore- This is the one down point for the hotel: the Sanrio themed breakfast is very over-priced, and there were no other breakfast options available. - The staff was able to recommend McDonalds at Kokusai as the nearest dine-in option, which we had for one of the mornings. - There is also konbini food available from the 7-11 and Family Mart next door, and a place to sit down at the lobby to consume your food
Location: Very convenient - Short walk from bus stops and Makishi station (connected to airport directly via Yui Rail) - 7-11, Family Mart, Times car rental, and Kokusai shopping street literally at your door step Room: Good rest at the end of the day - Small but functional - Clean (do not that the hotel only does cleaning every 3 days, for their sustainability efforts - can enquire if you need cleaning more frequently) - Designated wifi network for each room = good connection - No kettle in the room - High-tech bidet toilet Lobby: - Staff are friendly and helpful, Google translate is a must if you don't speak Japanese - Seamless check in and check out experience. We could leave our luggage there when we arrived earlier than the check in time by a few hours - Water and tea dispenser available - 1 free ice cream per guest Sanrio theme: - Lots of merchandise for sale - You get to keep the room card (personalised with your name) as a souvenir. We also got a coaster and a lucky dip small item to bring home

United StatesSuper cute shop on the first floor and toddler kimonos for guests for free during your stay. Super convenient location on Kokusai St and very friendly staff. Beds were a little hard and we thought the room was going to be a little more themed decor but overall a fun weekend! I would suggest to skip the breakfast and eat nearby

CanadaTheir “hot spring” is just an empty bathroom with a medium sized tub for you to fill out yourself.
The staff were kind and helpful, and the themed rooms were very cute! The lobby itself is also a Sanrio store that you can buy collectibles from. Location is also convenient: close to the airport, and between two convenience stores.
