Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesProbably the location. Taxi to 711 or nearby commercial areas where we can grab something to eat or buy grocery is very far and super expensive. No public transport during that time because it's a low season. The hotel was not helpful and give very limited free transport service to these areas. The hotel driver also when he fetched us to the station and dropped us off at the hotel with lots of luggage wasnt even helpful in our luggage. Just stayed in the van while he watched us load and unload our luggage. Had poor communication with staff because they dont speak English. One staff also is rude when we buy some stuff in their mini convenience store. It's as if I'm not going to pay her but was just engaged in a phone conversation. Where would I even run? It's a deserted place and I'm staying in the hotel. P Shower in our room is hard fix hot and cold. A little pressure if we choose the not the so hot water. So we prefer to just shower in the onsen area where water pressure is nicer.
We liked that the room is very spacious and we can freely move around. Perfect for a family of 5. There's a kitchen where we can cook and prepare simple meals. Afforable deal that we got since it's a low season in Niseko and there's nothing much to do. We also enjoyed the onsen. They have yamato service which was very helpful because I transported some of my luggage straight to the Narita airport.

AustraliaLovely hotel, however not a good location for any nightlife. Free shuttle buses to rental and 3 of 4 main ski areas was fantastic. Location would be great if you had your own car.

AustraliaThey should place a pool table & and a TV's showing snowboard or skiing competitions from YouTube .in the front bar .instead of people leaving the place, they will stay buy more food & more drinks .if the wind is too strong, they close the chair lifts & the gondola. So customers come back to the hotel & do nothing .this would be a great revenue raiser.
The friendliness of the staff.

SingaporeThe room used some type of flame heater which emitted fumes and polluted the air in the room. The method of room heating was not mentioned in the hotel information. Distance of parking to entrance could be closer. Insufficient parking
The onsen was very good, although instructions could have been clearer. Free parking.

AustraliaThe elevator doesn't wait for no one. The door starts to close after what feels like 5 seconds, even if you are walking through the door.
Really close to the snow resorts and only a short 10-20 minute drive to the local towns and shops. The family room was more than big enough to accommodate all of us 3 kids and 2 adults.

United StatesRoom was not entirely clean - I found clipped up bits of nails on the table in the sleeping area and on the floor near the bed which was truly disgusting and shocking considering that most hotels in Japan, even the affordable ones, are usually spotless clean. Housekeeping only changes towel and does nothing else during our 4-night stay. No one asked how our stay was when we checked out. We had issues picking up our rental car and was thankful for the shuttle service to all the Niseko ski areas - it’s not always running though so you’d have to plan your day around the shuttle schedule. There’s nothing around the hotel for dinner or anything after a whole day of skiing so you’d have to pay hefty price for taxi to get into town - the GoTaxi app worked fine for this purpose - not the most convenient location w/o a rental car and if you want any sort of après.
Amazing breakfast and very friendly staff at the restaurant. 24-hr onsen, indoor and outdoor. Comfortable beds. Shuttle service to Niseko ski areas.

TaiwanLocation is a bit far, not easy to call the uber, had to contact front desk to call rental cars for you.
The size of the room is over expectations!! with electric stove and all the kitchen appliances prepared, you can easily cook your own meal at home and there is even an island bar on the room where you can enjoy a drinking party with friends, public bath is extraordinary with outside pool, overall a good stay, fair for the price.

SingaporeDated decor and facilities (small LCD TV, old school key locks to the room, lift doors that will slam on you if you're not quick). Breakfast selection could be better. Ski lockers are not reserved for your room, so during busy period, you will struggle to find any free lockers to put your ski gear away. Location isn't quite where I thought it was. Only ski back to lodge, requires bus to get to closest ski resort (Moiwa).
Very large room with separate kitchen, dining and lounge area. It is dated and priced accordingly though. Onsen is very traditional and seems authentic. Staff are generally very helpful.

AustraliaOnsen. Breakfast choices have both Western and Japanese. Good size Apartment and spacious. Ski lockers were great. Return of ski rental was easy, didn’t have to go to the rental shop just put the rental in the collection box on the last day. Plenty of parking. Shuttle bus to the mountain is great. Like the washing machine/dryer in the Apartment.

MalaysiaTo be honest my check in process is not a pleasant experience. The lady receptions do slow and then she insisted I need to pay extra $3000 (2 nights)for 6 years old breakfast which is already included for my booking. Both of them was rude to me. Even says that “it’s only 3000 yen to settle the problem “ But it’s not my problem I already mentioned all the head counts in my booking, it’s not an add on. It’s the principle not about the money. I feel being cheated. It really spoils my stay the first night even though my penthouse so charming. Luckily on 2nd night I finally found the more Humane front desk staff that helped me.
I have total 9 rooms-penthouse, family suites, studio with tatami, premium suite & studio. All is good layouts & spacious. The view from the penthouse is superb
