Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanFirst of all, the combination of location and reasonable price (for Tokyo) was very attractive. This was my first time visiting this part of Tokyo. Besides work, I was interested in visiting the nearby Komazawa park, the site of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. (Hence, I assume, the name chosen for the hotel ;o) Despite the heavy traffic, it's very pleasant area to walk around, and the neighbourhood has many small and distinctively attractive restaurants. Indeed, my impression overall that this area of Tokyo is reasonably priced and generally relaxed compared to other areas so close to central Tokyo. As for the Olympic Inn, the staff are very friendnly and welcoming. The check in and out are straightforward. The room was very compact, and well designed. I slept very well and don't remember hearing any of the traffic. The location of the Olympic Inn is convenient for using the Den-en-Toshi Subway Line (Ikejiri-Ohashi Station), both to Komazawa Park (2 stops) and to Shibuya (2 stops).

South AfricaThe bathroom is tiny. Even smaller than expected.
It's a business hotel. You get what you payed for. Throw a random card in the card slot to keep your aircon and fridge powered while you are out. Conveniently located. Quick walk to the train station and just one station from Shibuya.

PhilippinesThe room is probably not worth the price we paid.
The area is convenient and it's close to the metro station, there's a couple of restaurants right next door including a 7/11 store.

CanadaPros -The location is absolutely exellent! It is 5 min from a metro station and 1 station away from the central transit station (Shibuya). It is possible to walk there too (20 min). In addition, it has restaurants and convenience stores near by. The location is just the best! - It is very clean. The sheets are crispy clean. You have a magnet that you stick on the door asking for the room to be cleaned or not. In any case, you get a set of clean towels every day. They leave them in a bag by the door if you ask not to be disturbed. - The staff is friendly and polite - There are a lot of convenient purks like a dispenser with free coffee and drinks, rasors, mints, etc available at the reception. Cons - The train. There is a train passing near by and you hear it. However, we were so tired every day that it didn't bother us at the slightest.

United StatesI didn’t like the smell and general upkeep of the smoking room, as a non smoker it left me feeling extremely nauseous. The closeness of neighbors next to room was quite loud.
I had to sleep in a smoking room because there were no non-smoking rooms available. I felt nauseous all night because of the smell. I could also hear the neighbors next to me which was not pleasant. The staff was very nice and there are free soft drinks in lobby. Close to Ikejiri-Ohashi station but a bit far walking to Shibuya station.

South AfricaNo comment. Our needs were met, and we were satisfied.
I liked the easy access to the nearest transport facilities, bus or train. The facilities nearby, lots of places to eat, laundry close by and a relaxing area to explore especially at night. The staff at the front desk were always courteous and helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay here and will recommend it. There were convenience stores next to the Inn, McDonald to the right, and Family Mart to the left. It is close to Shibuya and the bus stop is right in front of the Inn or a lovely walk to Shibuya station, The Meguro River is close by, and it was absolutely beautiful this time of the year, with the cherry blossoms in full bloom along the river. a further walk down the river is the Starbuck's Reserve, basically everything is close at hand and convenient.
