Wonderful owner, very helpful. Own room at this price, sento style bath. Strong aircon in the room is essential. Very showa era.

20 minute walk from Fuji station, through a neighborhood that honestly doesn't have much going for it (atleast to an outsider). The rooms and facilities have obviously seen better days, but they're still perfectly useful.

Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. We dressed in yakutas and took pictures then exchanged cultural backgrounds since I am native American. I am extremely grateful to staff for saving us from walking with luggage in the rain to the train station! They drove us to the station without hesitation when our taxi failed to show.

    None.

I walked to the hotel from Fuji Station. Although check-in was officially at 4 PM, I contacted the hotel via email in advance, and they kindly allowed me to check in early and rest in my room. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It was my first time using a large public bath, so I was a bit nervous. However, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and explained the bathing process in detail, which made me feel comfortable. I wore a yukata, went to the bath, undressed in the changing room, and enjoyed the experience. At first, I was a little unsure, but it was a great opportunity to learn about Japanese culture, and the bath itself was very relaxing. If you go at off-peak hours, you may even have the bath all to yourself! The room had complimentary bottled water, and I was pleasantly surprised that alcoholic drinks were included as a welcome drink. On the way to the hotel, there was a 7-Eleven, which was convenient for picking up any necessities before checking in. Additionally, there were 24-hour supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, so finding food was never a problem. There was even a popular ramen shop within walking distance, and the food was delicious! As many other reviews mentioned, the hotel staff is truly friendly—it felt almost like a homestay experience in Japan! They were always happy to help and provided so much useful information. This hotel offers excellent value for money and is perfect for travelers looking for a budget-friendly stay. The facilities are well-maintained, and the overall experience was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

I’m backpacking across Japan and stayed here with the goal of visiting Mt. Fuji. The tatami room and large bath allowed me to experience traditional Japan. The staff were incredibly friendly, always looking up information and helping me out. It’s within walking distance of Fuji Station and Tatebori Station. After a relaxing bath, I enjoyed Japanese sake—it was a complimentary welcome drink. There were other international travelers as well, which made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this place for those who want to experience a traditional Japanese inn at an affordable price.
