Great campground with A-Frame huts and full kitchen laundry facilities. Panoramic view of Mt. Aso and surrounding area. Wonderful.

Excellent value for money. Great accommodation with a lot of attention to detail. Loved staying there! Thank you for creating and maintaining this place.

be prepared to take your own trash with you when you check out. Also be aware that despite the good ratings, this is only a campground and don't expect luxury. I came by bicycle, which was perfect. If you come without a vehicle, getting there might not be as easy.

The place was absolutely stunning, the view, the special room, and there’s a private sitting area below each room! The room has a fan and thin mattress. There’s a kitchen if you need any tools.

The place is not very accessible for foreigners, I did not know that there are no blankets and pillows in the rooms. It was okay because you can borrow some from the common area, but since all the experience is self service it was kind of weird that no one said anything about that.

The owner is very helpful and quick to address anything you ask of him. The location is amazing. The view is spectacular.

People can play their music reaaally loud. If you're not on the same schedule, it is a bit uncomfortable. Kitchen could use some cleaning!

A simply lovely, unique place to stay when visiting Aso-san. The host is friendly and accommodative. The price was very reasonable, and it has a excellent view of Mount Aso during a clear day, especially sunrise/sunset.

Google Map may show wrong direction if you're to the east of the place. Almost got lost in the wood.

Cute camp. The camp manager is really friendly. You are right next to the nature. The lodge is small but compact, has 2 wall outlets.

You have to rent for almost everything. The lodge is not insulated, and heater is out of juice, with no blanket, the night will become extremely cold. I intended to stay there 2 nights but could not sleep at first night and decided to bail on second night to other hotel since I feared I won’t make it to the morning.

I arrived at night and there is a property manager who picked me up from the train station. Without him I would have had no way to get there. The place was safe from the winds, had running water and a clean bathroom with working bidet and heated seat. The view of the caldera is breathtaking and its walking distance to a spectacle of a shrine. The driver brought me back to a train the next morning. Would stay again, definitely would be more enjoyable not in the dead of winter.

It was very cold! The lodging isn't insulated, and my heater was missing gas. I was very cold all night and had to put on my ski clothing. Luckily I was prepared, but just a note that this not a hotel. It was so cold we had to keep the water running all night so the pipes wouldn't freeze. Which isn't anyone's fault!

Extremely worth the price, veeeery friendly staff, clean, super cute cottages, amazing view, electric sockets, tap water by the hut. There were also umbrellas, tables, chairs, a water boiler and a fridge available to borrow by the hut.

I have no bad things to say about this place. If you like to camp but would like to do it a bit more luxurious while keeping costs low this place is amazing. It was a bit cold during the night but would be a lot colder in my tent 😅

The place was extremely beautiful lots of stars at night and in the morning it's a sea of fog... the place had a kettle, fridge, running water, paid bath. And a bathroom with a bidet. You do need to bring your own pillow and blanket. The room also had a heater... overall it's a good experience

    Nothin really

Location is great, and the sunrise was beautiful. The hut itself was clean and ok.

Common kitchen was a bit dirty to me.
