The room is quite small but well organised. Clean but could be cleaner. A major issue is the curtain/ blind was useless, sun rise at 4am so it was bright in the room super early and I could not sleep well.

rooms where a bit untidy in the sense that there are many scratches in the wall and dusts under the bed.. plus there was a policy to use a hotel slippers and put your shoes into plastic and carry it to your room whenever your inside the hostel which was a bit hassle as the slippers area is very snall and when all the guests wants to change shoes it is crowded

The bunks get a little stuffy due to the lack of air circulation, but it's to be expected.

The location is very convenient and is close to many tourist attractions. It is easily accessible through Odori Station.

minor thing but the code they gave to enter past 10pm didn't work. We had to wait for someone to go outside so we could come in.

You head straight in after crossing the pedestrian lane :D We arrived early but the staff offered early check in with a minimal fee. The 6-bed room was quite spacious, we were able to walk around the room without bumping at each other. Spacious hallway although it can get crowded at the slipper area. Overall great stay and was quite new.

Maybe I still don't know how these shower types work, but I couldn't get water that was between boiling and freezing. The futon/bed had almost no cushioning, I slept with a towel placed where my body was hitting the frame.

Kitchen was too small(difficult to fit even two people) and only one kettle was available for the whole building. Taking the slippers on and off and having to carry shoes on the lift was inconvenient.

They do not help to call taxi. Location wise is not very close to train station. This is not convenient when you carry luggage walk to hotel during winter.

They charge for luggage storage before check in and after check out. A bit of walk to Susukino, Odori and the nearest subway station. Only 2 toilets and 1 shower for each gender for the whole floor.

I left my hand fan in the bathroom. A guess must’ve taken it. It was special to me because it was my souvenir from my trip to Osaka during summer.

The hotel is not very close to the subway station it takes 300m walk to the station and another 200m walk to get to the ticket office and train platform (Bus Center Mae Station). They charge 200yen per luggage if you want to keep the luggage in the hotel before if you come before check-in time and after check-out.

The Interior design in hotel is very nice. The hotel is very close to the tourist attractions such as Nijo Market and a short walk to the Tanukikoji Shopping Street. The Kitchen in the hotel is nice and bathroom is very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful also come with a great English speaking skill.

There is not much space in the room, and there’s no storage space. It seemed a bit expensive compared to other places we stayed in Japan, but that might be due to the snow festival.

It’s very conveniently located close to Odori Park and the snow festival taking place in February. It was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the stay. It’s possible to store luggage for a small fee

Large group of foreigners were drunk at midnight and they made a huge noise and also made wrest rooms messy because of vomits. That was disgusting.

Location was perfect. It was right in front of market, and 5 minutes walk from center of downtown. Mostly the facilities were clean. The staff were really nice. They handled the problem promptly.

The room is very small and the walls were quite dirty.

The location is amazing. You are basically walking distance away from everything. The room is small but it has all the things you need. You need to take your shoes off at the first floor and use slippers in the hostel. The water pressure in the shower was quite nice. There are some seats in the lobby and there is a bar but it was closed during our stay. This is not a social hostel.

The pillows were extremely hard as well as the bed. The room is very cramped so travellers should be aware.

The staff were so kind and helpful and the hostel was a lovely warm nest to return to at the end of a freezing, snowy day. The rooms were small but great view. Showers and toilets were fantastic, toiletries, towels and extras were much appreciated and great value. Appreciate the heater and humidifier as well as fridge and kettle supplied. Located close to markets, stores and restaurants- the station is just around 7 minutes walk away to get to Sapporo station.
