Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandPerfect location in Japanese style. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This is more boutique hotel but is perfect even for families and is located just in the heart of Asakusa. Room was spacious, very clean and well equipped. Japanese breakfast was very good. You could also select western one. We will definitely comeback while visiting Tokyo again!

United StatesThe room was clean and comfortable. The location was great. There was a lot to see in Asakusa in a short walk from the hotel. it was also close to train stations, so you could easily take the train to other parts of Tokyo. We loved the water dispenser in the room. It was so hot and humid, and I had a cold, so it was nice to be able to keep getting clean water without having to get it from the bathroom or purchase it. Air conditioning was great. The staff were kind and responsive. We mistakenly thought we had paid for a breakfast inclusive room, so we unintentionally sprung extra breakfasts on the staff at the last minute (before 9pm the night before, but still late) and they adapted and got us food in a timely manner, even though they had not expected us. The breakfast was good. One of us got the western breakfast and the other got the Japanese breakfast. The yogurt and sandwiches in the western breakfast were great. The fish and other elements of the Japanese breakfast were also good. My son, age 13, liked the egg salad sandwich. We enjoyed tasting some Japanese whisky and beer at the bar.

The location is outstanding, right next door to Kamikase St leading to Sensijo temple. The rooms were very quiet and the staff was ready to help at any moment.

It’s within walking distance to Sensoji Temple and the subway. Although the subway exit doesn’t have escalators, it’s still a good place to stay for someone like me with carry-on luggage. This is a hotel I would book again☺️

United StatesI don't think I have a complaint. We had a lovely stay.
Quiet hotel in the bustle of the shopping stalls of Asakusa and Senso-ji temple. Small but very comfortable room. Clean. Wonderful Shower/bath. Wonderful sleeping with warm cozy duvets. Breakfast included (western or Japanese) and a nice bar for a drink in the evening.

AustriaSuperb location for Asakusa based exploring and Narita airport access (direct line, avoiding Tokyo, Shinjuku etc stations). The Deluxe Suite was spacious and comfortable for 3 people (2 beds and cushion/ futon style 3rd bed). Bathroom was larger than expected and spotlessly clean. Hot/ cold water dispenser in room was a nice touch. Very friendly and helpful man at check-in/ out.

Luxembourg1) Dirty spotty rag in the lift. First impression of the facilities starts with the lift, this one was not at its top, and remained such for all the 3 days we stayed at this hotel. In Japan, things can be tiny and simple, modest and even fragile, but everything is mostly clean. 2) Evening staff did not book a taxi, as we requested and as he confirmed, nor did he passed our request to the morning staff who was surprised to learn we expected a taxi to the airport. Luckily, we went down 10-15 minutes in advance, and the taxi finally came in time, but I would not count on luck in these cases (that's the reason for placing a request the night before) 3) Location is excellent to explore Asakusa, but not Tokyo. Asakusa station is the terminal on Ginza subway line, and it takes quite some time to reach other interesting areas. If to be selected again, would have opted for a different location (personal preference, of course)
1) Location. Plenty to explore right at the doorway- Asakusa is an interesting place, with a market, temples, shops, restaurants and cafes. Transportation is in convenient proximity. 2) Seating Japanese-style platform in the room. While space is normally scarce in the Japanese hotels, this platform offers a great room for taking a rest after a long day, with a cup of tea or a glass of beer. 3) Shower - spacious and highly functional
