The ac unit was way too smart and would do its own thing, but we wanted it to be quiet at sleep time. There is a kitchen in the property but utensils are no longer provided free of charge (we didn't need them) but we felt like this is an unfair extra that isn't warned about when booking. The noise from the road at night can be a bit annoying, it's not a big road but you're very close to it, also the front of the property is full glass so light from cars also sometimes lights up the room.

Our host was such a great guy, helped us with the door when we were stupid, talked us through everything, even gave us food options. Also as we were leaving he thanked us for staying with him and gave us coffees to start our day. Such a nice guy.

Large room with fridge, microwave, sink and utensils. Separate bathroom, toilet and wash area. 10 to 15 minutes walk to castle. Parking.

We traveled by car to the property but had difficulty finding it. The GPS navigator in the rental car could not find it using the property phone number, which seems to be the most common way of finding places in Japan. We could not enter the address in Japanese and our only other choice was to enter the postcode which also did not take us to the property, but to some location about 1km away. A search on Google maps also could not locate the property when we translated the name of the property from Japanese to English. After calling the property host and telling them where we were she kindly drove in her car to find us and we followed her back to the property. So all ended well and the host was very sorry for the inconvenience, but we were just glad to have finally arrived after a very long drive.

The host was very friendly and helpful. Speaking in English was difficult for her but her English was better than our Japanese of about 5 words. The room was large, very clean, with all modern facilities and the beds were very comfortable. To our surprise the host gave us a parting gift of some snacks and bottled drinks.

The owner lives next door, greatly facilitating the check-in process which was quite efficient. This is a single room with an attached bath, quite large to accomodate two people and many luggages. Good wifi connection. Parking space in front of the lodging, a 7-minute walk to the castle.

The owner was kind and spoke english well. The room is big, private bathroom, kitchen, wifi, etc. The location is superb. Near the Inuyama Castle and on Cherry blossom season you can actually see them even from inside the accomodation.

The walls are quite thin so it gets cold inside very easily unless you keep the AC on all the time. The beds are those foldable type and can be more comfortable. There was some Wi-Fi issue during the stay because of the booster but the host came over and solved the issue shortly after.

The location is great, walk distance to the castle park. There is private parking in front of the house. The host is a classic Japanese, polite and helpful. We enjoyed the stay.

Upon leaving in the morning, Owner came and generously give use each a can of coffee and several packs of snacks. Unexpected hospitality that won our hearts.

We arrived at night time. Host immediately met us and gave us room keys. Although we did send email request for additional bed for 1st night only. This message did not get across. Fortunately, we can communicate with Owner in English. He understood that extra bed only require for 1st night (not both nights, as one member is leaving next day).

Everything was great.

The apartment is conveniently located, just 5 minutes on foot to reach Inuyama Jo. The room was large and at out arrival we were upgraded for free to an even larger apartment. It was very clean and Nicola furnished. The owner was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

The description clearly says that there are 2 bedrooms. There are not. The owner of the apartment and Booking.com were on the phone for nearly an hour. Finally we weee checked in at a different hotel near by at the owner’s expense. I see that the description has not been changed. This needs to be corrected.

Location was not far from the metro station.

Superb location just a few minutes walk from the castle, the station and all the action. The apartment is very comfortable and has its own private parking space. The owner was very helpful.
