NetherlandsIt would have been nice to have a door "sticker" that said: "No new towels needed". At one point I had four bags with new towels lying around in my small hotel room.. As much as I like to use clean towels, I genuinely didn't need that many 😅
Convenience stores, train station and several malls right around the corner. Literally, all you had to do was cross the street! All in all a great location obviously. Staff was very friendly and helpful! The room itself had an instruction card with everything you needed to know.

United StatesLast two days before my check out date they requested to clean my room, so I left for the entire cleaning period (10-3) came back at 3 to find the room still being cleaned so I left immediately and came back half an hour later to find a message saying I was in there during cleaning hours so they didn't clean it. So the next day I left the entire time and came back half at 3:15 to find once again they declined to clean it. Up to this point I had always had the bed made, everything except vacuuming completed and the trash bagged and ready for removal whenever cleaning occurred. Made me look like a rude person leaving lots of trash in the room right before I left. I work almost daily from 0330-14:30 local time so it interfered with my work which I let the cleaning staff know directly a couple times. The last two days there made me take a big pay cut. I also have bad knees so I can't just wander around all day everyday looking for stuff to do.
Staff was nice, pretty, and helpful, room had ac and a private bathroom
