Beautiful views. We loved the traditional Japanese baths and complimentary breakfast, tea, and cocktail service. Good value for a relaxing vacation.

The rooms are slightly dated but perfectly functional.

I book this hotel for the lake view as we cannot guarantee the mount view if the weather is bad. An this is my best reward to myself after hiking Mount Fuji and it is worth it. My experience at Rakuyu was very great. I do not even need to go out of hotel. After checked in, I had Tea Time and then light meal which is quite filling for dinner. I love open-air onsen where you can see the Kawaguchi lake from there. I spent over an hours there. I also enjoyed Kawaguchi lake view from my room.

There is nothing much. The location is a bit far. But they have quite frequent shuttle buses and it is quite convenient. It is even a bonus point for Rakuyu.

Baths were very nice and well kept, lounge and meals were very good, beautiful hotel and Japanese rooms and the staff was very helpful in getting us a car to the Mishima station.

The service was so kind and nice, the food was amazing.

The sight was great. The room was huge and comfortable. Walking in the hotel and having breakfast wearing the provided yukata was a soothing experience. The staff was helpful and available.

Everything, free breakfast, fancy room, the views were fantastic even if it wasn't mt fuji. The onsen and the tub inside our room were both wonderful experiences. 10/10 WILL be visiting again.

High quality food & drinks in the tea & cocktail times from 15 to 19, spacious rooms & common areas, decent onsen Incl a mini sauna, great view of the Kawaguchiko lake & the surrounding mountains.

If you do your laundry there, make sure to take your clothes out of the laundry asap as the programme is over or you risk shrinking your clothes as the heat goes on even after the programme is complete.

Rakuyu gave us a very good experience in our Kawaguchiko stay. Our room had the best view of the lake, the cocktails were heavy enough to replace dinner! And the shuttle from hotel to Kawaguchiko station made our stay easier to navigate. The private onsen was also a great experience (with a small additional cost).

Rooms were large, comfortable and clean . The lounge was a great addition as there was plenty of food if you got there early enough. Breakfast felt a little rushed as it was also a case of if you got there early, there was plenty of choice .

No signage in English at the entrance to the hotel.

Wow, the welcome from the staff was unlike any I have ever had, they were extremely kind and caring. The location is stunning and the rooms were everything I wanted. I was looking for a traditional style room and it met those expectations. I wish I could have spent more time there. The bathtub in the room was huge and a great addition, the shower was perfect and the view from the room and bathroom was a great addition. The beds were very comfortable and overall everything exceeded expectations. I also really enjoyed using the hot spring bath and it was accommodated well and the view from there was also stunning. A great way to relax and recharge.

I do not have any complaints about the hotel at all.

My mom enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea and evening canapes very much. The location was superb, quiet with a good view of the lake. But what left the strongest impression was the impeccable service provided by the hotel - front front desk to shuttle drivers. It felt like a home away from home.

There was no shuttle service between 11 am to 2 pm. Could be inconvenient if we are just trying to drop off our luggage and start the sightseeing around the lake earlier. Would be perfect if there could be some form of transport throughout the day, given the location of the hotel.
