Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe hotel is in lovely, quiet neighbourhood but not far from the Yamanote and other train lines. We were staying for a week and it was great to have a comfortable room and a washing machine and kitchenette. The staff were very responsive when we had a request.

Australiathe rooms were a little small. there was little space to put two suitcases, and to hang clothes. the location was a little bit further than i had anticipated (my own fault), not realising walking 10-15 mins to the station, especially in the rain, was not the most fun.
easy to check in and out. aircon, bathroom, washing machine was good. beds were comfortable enough. there was also a stovetop (we didn't use it) and microwave which was very handy.

ThailandThe location was quite far from the stations, and the room was not as clean as what I would expect to see in Japan. Although the room was spacious, the design made it feel clustered still.
The staff was really helpful, and we even got to check-in before the check-in time.

AustraliaWe knew when booking that this hotel was a bit further away from the station. A solid 10 minute walk each way may not be east for everyone. Luckily we were able to take our luggage straight to Nippori Station to use the Skyliner.
Relatively quiet area, although there's no reception desk the reception was quite responsive to our requests.

New ZealandWas a bit dark lack of working light bulbs, however made sleeping easy..
This place is away from the hustle & bustle of Tokyos main centres however, only a 10min drive to Ginza & the local train station is about a 8 minute walk as is the supermarket. These larger type apartments are really good when you have been in Japan a few days & really want to stay a few days without an early check out with space to rearrange your suitcases, get some washing done & try 'eating at home' comfortably. If you get my meaning. Space in the Tokyo area also helps to recharge the batteries. The room was big with a good kitchen, full washing facilities, full fridge freezer on one side, dining area in the middle bathroom adjacent with several beds & a convertible couch in an open plan area on the other side.worked well & was very comfortable for the days we were there. driving around was ok as roads very narrow & parking not to far away.

United StatesThe taxi could not find the building and got lost -- he even turned off his meter. So it's not the easiest place to get to. But once we got situated and figured out the best route to walk to the station (longer than what was in Google Maps) it was convenient enough.
We liked the mostly automated entry and security, and the small but usable kitchenette. Although the condo was a bit farther from Nippori Station than we would have liked, here were good supermarkets on the way and it was quite close to a konbini for quick food trips. Nice quiet location.

SwedenA bit small but it's what you would expect for being in a big city. The toilet was placed to where if you where taller than 170 cm your knee's would touch the wall and you would sit a bit uncomfortably. So if you had long legs you would be in a little bit of a pickle to sit comfortably without hugging the wall.
Location was very nice, pretty close to the station and the neighbourhood was pretty quiet for Tokyo. Great beds and a really good bathroom with a really nice shower.

AustraliaUpon arrival we had to call someone to come and give us the keys, the location was out of the way and quite a distance to walk with luggage.
The room was very clean and well equipped. We washed our clothes and took to the laundromat for drying due to time constraints. Washing powder supplied with really good bathroom supplies.
