Wasn't counting that a smoking room is really a room were people smoke inside. I thought of a room with a veranda. But it is what it is, just be aware.

Very helpful staff, despite their low level of English they did everything they could to help us. We need to send our luggage and they were amazingly helpful.

There’s no lotion provided . Normally it’s included on toiletries supply, and no courtesy water inside the room .

Staff were so polite. I suggest to book with breakfast because it’s totally worth it.

Location was a little away from anything, beds were pretty firm and the pillows were rocks.

Location (view): If you get a fuji-facing room from like the 5th floor up it's GORGEOUS. You can sometimes see the lights from the huts which makes the view that extra bit surreal. Rooms: They were tidy and compact with eco-efficient settings to ensure you are comfortable but not chewing up natural resources. Service: The onsen and common area were great, the smoking room was a little smaller compared to others but they have one at least for vaping. If you don't want your room cleaned daily which I was more than happy to switch up because a night on Mount Fuji wouldn't need room cleaning the next day. You can swap your cleaning for drink tokens which work with the in-house vending machine for alcohol or soft drinks. Hotel breakfast was delicious and free which worked really well.

A decent breakfast, ample parking, easy access from the highway, shops nearby, friendly staffs, extremely clean and tidy rooms. I mean, what more can you ask for a hotel in Japan at this price?

From our point of view, there needs to be someone at reception that speaks English. The walk from the station was an effort !! No English signs and the Hotel doesn’t have their sign in English. Taxi driver didn’t speak English !!

Breakfast was bountiful and would suit all tastes. We were greeted and there was no waiting for seating at 8 am..

Location is definitely very very far from the Gotemba station if you travel with family better have transport on hand. It takes 30min to walk from the hotel to the station and vice versa. As for us we travel light so we do not have big luggage.

Great views of Mt. Fuji just outside of my window lots restaurant local and western. Breakfast is basic traditional Japanese food they do have bread and eggs. Public bath is good all the facilities is provided like Yukata bathing amenities.

I would love to give this hotel a -1 star rating. 1. Not a single staff member here speaks a word of English, which is unacceptable for a hotel that receives many international guests. 2. I wanted to check in early, and the staff member told me it wasn’t possible because the room wasn’t ready. But when I used Google Translate to say I was willing to pay extra, she suddenly said the room was ready. I ended up paying an extra 4,000 yen. Now, about the room: it’s tiny, with a view of the parking lot. It’s so old and unappealing that you wouldn’t want to spend even one night here. The mattress was rock-hard, just like the pillow. As for breakfast, I wasn’t informed that it was only available until 9 am. Check-out time is 10 am, so I paid extra to check in early, missed breakfast that I had paid for due to lack of information, and had to check out by 10 am, even though check-in isn’t until 3 pm. We only booked this hotel out of necessity because we were visiting Mount Fuji, but I would never stay here again. I’d rather sleep in a tent than in this hotel. Not many restaurants around only fast food . No supermarket closed to the Hotel. Taxi needs at least 10 min to the Hotel , there are not Taxis in front of the Hotel .

The cute Pizzeria next door but it has nothing to do with the Hotel that was disappointing.

The room is very tiny, doesn’t match the photos what they have posted online…feels like suffocating it’s that small and compact. No staff who can speak or understand English language. No proper breakfast options available.

It isn’t worth the price. The beds are very hard. We had bugs in our shower and it is very far from Gotemba Station if you’re planning on hiking Mt. Fuji or need easy access to trains.

The staff is fantastic! We loved their hospitality.
