The room was very nice and large. There was a onsen (but I did not use it). The hotel has a parking which is really convenient. The breakfast is a small buffet that was perfect to start the day.

NetherlandsIt's a ways away from the trainstation and it takes almost 40 minutes to get there by bus. Also, the quality of the restaurant is subpar. Most of the things I ordered were bland and overcooked.

As we had a rented car, that made it easy to locate this Hotel Route Inn at Takamatsu. Hotel has ample car parks. At reception, was a nice coffee machine that serves freshly grounded coffee. This hotel is just a short drive to shikoku mura vilage, Takamatsu Castle and Ritsurin Garden. Also close to a mall (on the way to Shikoku Mura Village) where there is a supermarket. We managed to buy strawberries that were in season. There are many eateries around the hotel. With the recommendation by receptionist we were at a Beef Teppanyaki restaurant. Only a short 10 mins walk from the hotel. We had the hotel help us book this restaurant . We enjoyed the dinner meal very much.

The public bath (onsen) is clean with razor, shampoo and shower gel, which is even well-equipped than many paid onsen.
