The hotel could be a bit harder to reach if you don't have a car, as it is not in the city center.

The room was very nice and large. There was a onsen (but I did not use it). The hotel has a parking which is really convenient. The breakfast is a small buffet that was perfect to start the day.

Pillow is a bit too hard, the spare pillow is smaller and not comfortable. There is no free bottle of water in the room.

It's a ways away from the trainstation and it takes almost 40 minutes to get there by bus. Also, the quality of the restaurant is subpar. Most of the things I ordered were bland and overcooked.

Rooms were tidy and pretty big. Shower was good.

Pillows .. wish there is a choice for firmer pillows.

As we had a rented car, that made it easy to locate this Hotel Route Inn at Takamatsu. Hotel has ample car parks. At reception, was a nice coffee machine that serves freshly grounded coffee. This hotel is just a short drive to shikoku mura vilage, Takamatsu Castle and Ritsurin Garden. Also close to a mall (on the way to Shikoku Mura Village) where there is a supermarket. We managed to buy strawberries that were in season. There are many eateries around the hotel. With the recommendation by receptionist we were at a Beef Teppanyaki restaurant. Only a short 10 mins walk from the hotel. We had the hotel help us book this restaurant . We enjoyed the dinner meal very much.

20 minute line for breakast, 1.7Km from thr nearesr JR station, only two washing machines available and the dryer function on them is incredibly weak.

The breakfast is a typical Japanese one with reasonable variety of food. The location is good as I was driving but there are really plenty of restaurants around the quartier. The public bath (onsen) is clean with razor, shampoo and shower gel, which is even well-equipped than many paid onsen.

The staff at the front desk were not at all welcoming and had really poor communication skills. The entrance of the room was inconvenient to enter/exit. Lacked amenities.

Public bath, car parking, and buffet breakfast were of added a bit value.

The rooms were noticeably dated, bathroom was tiny, window didn’t seem to be tinted, weird bedside outlet set up where it was only accessible on one side for the double rooms, no superior rooms with double beds.

Spacious parking, prompt responses on the app, really accommodating staff, very comfortable beds, easy to navigate airconditioning system.
