Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. I loved that they opened the dining area and gave out free drinks after 3pm - helped a lot when coming back from a full day outside in the humidity. They were also close to Kyoto Station and a mall where there was a grocery store that we could purchase drinks and food a lot cheaper than a conbini.

We loved the sauna and the public baths. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of food and drinks. The staff is superb, always keen to help with a warm smile.

MaltaRooms are spacious and comfortable, full of amenities and very well lit. Breakfast selection was good with both local and continental food options. Access to the hotel is great, with around a 10min walk from the Kyoto station. Staff were very courteous and helpful. The hotel also has a coin laundry room on site which was helpful for us.

It was a twin room, hence we had two bathrooms, which was very convenient. The place also has a sentou which was nice after a heavy rain day. It was close to the station, so to go back to Tokyo with our luggages that was easier.

The property is lovely, many amenities and the staff were all kind and helpful!
