NetherlandsThe location was difficult to find but the good thing is that they provide a shuttle. During your stay you can not walk around outside the hotel, so if you want to go to the city center you have to ask for the shuttle.
The room and the hotel was well maintain and the service was exceptional. The staff was very helpful and very nice. We had a perfect stay. But we want to specially thank Denny Sumargo who made our stay unforgettable. When we have a chance we will surely come back!!

AustraliaIt’s a tad outside of the town but still a very manageable walk (and you get the great view from being up higher). Came with breakfast which was traditional (fish etc), not quite to our tastebuds but that’s just personal preference - it was still a great local experience to try.
Wish we stayed another night. Loved the town & this hotel. We booked the room with private onsen on balcony which was amazing. We didn’t use other private onsen in the hotel but they did have one you could reserve. The room had the traditional Japanese style but with a western mattress so that was lovely and comfy.

The staff were particularly keen to engage and help out (chats about the food and offering to take photo was a nice touch). However for the price a few things could have been a little different. For example, the dinner service could have been a bit slower. Given the amount of food and number of courses, the dinner felt a bit rushed. For the price, I would expect the public bath/onsen to be complimentary. An extra fee (1100Y) was a bit disappointing. The rooms are clean, but the onsen room could use a deep clean. Given the flow of water 24hrs a day, it's not surprising it's always a bit damp. The hotel is 30 mins walk from the main town, but there is a shuttle twice a day 10am (to town) and 4pm (from town). A on demand shuttle might be a nice bonus.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The private onsen with a beautiful mountain view was truly relaxing and memorable. Additionally, the fine dining in traditional Japanese style was exceptional, offering a perfect balance of taste, presentation, and atmosphere. I would also like to commend the staff member, Jeffery, who served us with fluent Mandarin and provided excellent service, including detailed explanations throughout the dinner. His attentiveness greatly enhanced our overall experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and authentic Japanese experience.
