Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndonesiaWell, space is a bit small... But I guess that's just normal in Tokyo.
Located conveniently a few hundred metres away from Shin Koiwa train station and easily accessible from Narita via Narita Express Line. A nice local neighborhood and you get the feeling of how locals live. Not so 'touristy'..

TurkeyThe television had no smart capabilities and no channels other than Japanese ones. The fridge ran, at times, very noisily. Although we had no problems whatsoever, the fact that there is no one at the reception desk after 8 PM means if something goes wrong you won't be able to get help quickly.
Location is just excellent, just a minute away from the Shinkoiwa Station. Lots of konbinis, markets and all kinds of restaurants around. The room was clean and amenities were good enough for such an establishment. The bed and the pillows were comfortable. The staff was excellent and despite the language barrier, very helpful.

Good location close to train station. Plenty of restaurants; supermarkets and shops around. Tokyo station is only a few station ride. Direct train ride from Narita Airport,

United StatesI found the shower somewhat difficult to use. The temperature controls were also the sink controls, and it was tricky to get the right temperature for any task honestly. The pillows did not offer much neck support.
The staff member that checked us in was very friendly, I appreciate that they had someone at the front desk at 10pm. We did not see any other staff during our stay we also were not in need of anything. The room was very small, but that was to be expected. We stayed for three nights, we appreciated that they provided us each with a fresh towel for each night at the start of our stay. The hotel itself was not very centrally located, but a very short walk to a train station.

Check in and out is easy and straightforward and they give you enough towels for you to ask why so many.

United StatesIt is not a big problem, but the dryer in the 3rd floor laundry room was not very effective at drying clothes. There is a laundromat near the hotel that may be better suited for laundry if needed.
Staff are all very professional and polite, the room I stayed in was small, but I like smaller rooms and it was comfortable and clean. The location is also excellent!

SwedenThe reception does not really understand English. It works anyway because much is self-service, but might be difficult if you need help.
Clean room with everything you might need. The room was nicer and a bit bigger than expected. The location is very good if you want to experience the "true" Tokyo. It's close to a shopping and restaurant street where Japanese people go. You have a JR train stop 2 min away and a Lawson right outside.

United StatesI was not aware that this place had a smoking and non-smoking room to choose from when I was looking at this place, and I ended up having to stay in a room that smelled like cigarettes for 6 days. So please double check before you book! And the bathtub also looked slightly dirty, although I wasn't sure if it was just worn down from use or wasn't cleaned thoroughly!
More than enough towels were provided to change out daily, extremely convenient location close to the station, and several restaurants and convenience store nearby within walking distance!

ChinaAlmost perfect stay, nothing that I don't like
Great transportation train and subway to downtown, just outside of the station. Very helpful self-check-in system and the staff moved my bag to my room before I checked-in, so very helpful, though they don't really speak English. The room was nice, all equipped with necessary tools and appliance, very quiet and clean, though a bit narrow.
