The house is clean with a light fragrance. Traditional Japanese tatami is a special point we were very enjoy. All the facilities in the house are useful and convenient. The surrounding of the house is quiet, there are some breakfast coffee store and restaurants near the house within 15 mins walking distance. It’s a really great experience.

Property was very clean, spacious, with a well-equiped kitchen or Nagoya station on a 15 minute walk with plenty of places to eat. Bedroom was large enough to sleep with 4 people without bothering each other. Futons were very comfortable. Bikes were provided to get around town. Owner was very friendly and speaks perfect English. Would recommend!

Such a great find! We were so happy with Samurai House. Easy and prompt communication prior to arrival to organise check in time, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great facilities (washer and dryer was a godsend, and it was quick 30 mins cycles), dyson hairdryer, cooking and utensils. The bath had auto fill function, but a bit hard to work out but we got there. The futons were surprisingly super comfortable..we were a family of 6 and found it spacious. Family Mart around the corner and Nagoya station was about 20 mins easy walk. Highly recommend!

Mikiko at Samurai House was a wonderful and caring host. The property is very clean and tidy, and has excellent facilities. It is a 10-15 min walk from Nagoya Station, which is very convenient. The interior is very unique and made the stay more enjoyable.

Everything is wonderful!

This trip to Nagoya was absolutely amazing, especially being able to stay in such a great accommodation for an entire week. The host responded very promptly, and all the facilities were perfect. The washer and dryer were particularly convenient, and the kitchen utensils were not only clean but also fully equipped. The bathtub was another highlight—soaking in it after a long day of traveling was incredibly relaxing, leaving me refreshed and energized for the next day’s itinerary. If I have the chance to visit Nagoya again in the future, I will definitely choose this accommodation again. It was simply perfect!

The only thing I would have liked is a place where to put our luggage. We had to leave it in the front entrance, they have a space being used as a front desk which I think should be used for luggage space or storage. Other than that we he place is beautiful.

One of the best stays in Japan all together, we were welcome even tough we arrived earlier then expected, very clean and extremely comfy, we even had a Nintendo on which we played a bit after a long walk within Nagoya. We will surely visit again

Some mosquitoes flew in when we opened the windows/door.

The beds were very comfortable, place was very clean, and the kitchen was very well equipped -- cutlery and equipment looked new with a whole range of kids cutlery provided. The kids were very happy. We could also walk to the Nagoya station and a supermarket in 10 minutes. We changed our minds last minute about calling a taxi but Mikiko helped us to get one.

Samurai House is spotless. Beds are very comfortable. Quilts are soft, light but very warm. We had the best sleep during the trip! Mikiko is super nice and helpful. We forgot to book dinner and all good restaurants were full. Mikiko kept calling different good rating restaurants until she managed to book us in. Food was delicious with very reasonable price.

We love the heated floor, it has everything you need including toys for kids. Washing machine and gas dryer were really great too. Bedroom is spacious and the futon was comfortable. Staff are very friendly and prompt in responding to messages. I wish we had booked a longer stay.

The only minor thing, which may not be an issue for most, is only 1 key for the front door, so you need to coordinate who has the key if your group wants to go out & return at different times.

It is a bit far from Nagoya station, only one bathroom for a big family, but it is not a big deal for us if as we have very good time management .

It is located in a quiet local residential area where we can experience the Japanese local culture closely. And the house is exceptionally clean, beautiful, and very well maintained, it has everything we need! And what’s the best is that it has smart TV, game and English comics book for the kids and we can literally stay in the house as long without wanting to go out .
