There was no elevator, the community kitchen didn’t have small spoons, kitchen paper was often not available, hot water cattle was also not always available since other guest take them to their rooms, the pool was closed for two days with no prior announcement (it would be nice to know beforehand to plan accordingly), also there is a pool at the residence, couldn’t this one be used when the hotel pool is not available? Some Information is only in Japanese. There is a laundry room but no drying racks in the room.

Views were beautiful, room comfortable, it’s great that the onsen, playroom and swimming pool of the hotel. The distance to the Shirarahama beach is walkable but can be hot in summer. There are buses every hour or so.

The room itself was a bit spartan. Not egregiously so, but compared to a standard business hotel, a bit of a downgrade. Didn't stay in the room long enough to care too much about it.

Breakfast was superb. Great atmosphere in the lobby, and a nice view of the coast as well. Staff was friendly and informative, letting me know everything the main building had to offer.

It was irritating that I tried to pay online and was told I had to pay at the property because I was not a resident of Japan. When I clicked pay at the property, the price instantly went up with no warning and there was a no cancellation rule. This was very misleading. Breakfast buffet was big, but chairs were dirty and stained, and the food selections were not to my liking. I enjoyed trying some new things, but a couple of western choices would have been nice for the price.

Great location. Clean. Loved the communal kitchen, dining, and living room. Very clean and cozy.

The main building was a different name than what I had been reading on my information and so I was unsure of where to go for a few minutes as there are three buildings total, but I asked a person out front by the parking area who helped me. My room was facing the road, which was relatively loud in the evening and morning times.

The main hotel had a beautiful view overlooking an infinity pool and a hot foot bath and out onto the ocean. The main lobby area was clean and had multiple options for seating and relaxing. There was a huge buffet area for food services and I enjoyed eating dinner and breakfast there. And I also enjoyed grabbing some baked goods at a smaller counter in the main lobby on my way out for the train ride to Osaka.

There’s sand in the bed sheets even though it was just exchange. I think it was not thoroughly checked when they exchanged the sheets.

It’s near to almost tourist attractions and i like it most especially because it’s near the Shirarahama beach.

When I first inquired about making a reservation at the By the Ocean Buffet, the staff told me it wasn’t possible and that we would need to wait until 11:30. Later, my friend asked another staff member and we were accommodated right away. This inconsistency was disappointing, as I felt that, as guests, we should have been accommodated from the beginning without having to ask twice.

    No.

My family was firstly surprised by the sunset at the Terrace which was located on the ground floor; then by the different types of hotsprings offered by the hotel. The self-kichen is fully equipped where allows us to enjoyed the fruits such as water melon and peaches grabbed from the Tore Tore market. It also allows us to reheat breads grabbed from the Bakery. Don't miss the crossiant from the bakery of the hotel. Get one to the JR before leaving. Afterall, we loved this hotel and we will come again.

You have to walk to the main building under the heat all the time to have breakfast, go to the swimming pool and use Onsen. There was no disclaimer about that when I made a booking. As everyone was supposed to go to Onsen, there was no hair dryer in the room. There is no lift in the building so be careful if you have heavy luggage. They have an infinity pool but you can't go to the edge which doesn't make sense. I tried to order drinks at the pool bar but I couldn't put the bill because I wasn't staying in the main building. They don't accept cash or credi card either but accept only Japanese online payment like Paypay and LINE Pay which I can't have as I live abroad. (you can't even download the app if you don't have Japanese phone number and Japanese Apple ID).

The Onsen was really good. The view from outdoor onsen was stunning.

Wifi did not connect at all. When I told the front desk they lent me a pocket wifi which was slow.. The community bath (Oncen) is nice but not kept very clean. It is probably the foreign visitors who are not accustomed to using bathing facilities and cleaning up after them selves. When there is a large number of Asian groups staying at the hotel, there should be extra cleaning staff for the bath, open to close. It was really filthy... The rooms do not have a hot water kettle. If they are going to name the facility "Residence" there should at least be a hot water kettle in each room. The public kitchen space is also not very convenient. Cooking utensil selections are very minimal, pans are in poor condition... Not sure the staff even checks the cleanliness of the dishes after the guests are expected to wash and put away them selves. We had to wash all dishes, cups, cooking utilities every time before use just to be sure they were clean. The whole hotel is not handicap friendly. Especially the Residence buildings have so many stairs and no elevator. I don't think that is mentioned on the reservation sites. The worst part was the many cockroaches and mosquitoes in the Residence building public space. Maybe spraying for bugs periodically is a necessity? Draining the water in the "once used as a pool" area may help decrease the number of mosquitoes. Bottom line is, the price when booked whey ahead is appropriate but the price they are charging right before your travel date is not worth it.

The price, location was good. The abundance of hand towels available for use was handy. Loved the Re-Fa hairdryers! The new Massage shop was excellent!

The bakery is half-closed every Tuesday and Wednesday when we've arrived and we didn't have a chance to eat their fresh bread/strawberry desserts. But other items like packed food and coffee are available.

Loved the onsen area. It has 3 levels below and the lowest part you can enjoy the sea view! The design in the hotel reception area was unfussy yet elegant, with gatcha machines, bakery and the souvenir shop in one area. We booked the "Residence" part but even that was very good - the self-service kitchen looked chic, views were amazing, and the couch area was spacious. Appreciate the vending machine and honour-system shop area!

We booked and paid for a room with sea view. But we were not given one. We were told the hotel is fully booked which is disappointing. And the floor of the room was not mopped at all. My husband had to clean the dirty and dusty floor. The room has just 1 tiny IKEA table and 1 IKEA chair. Limited hangers and hanging space and we ended up hanging the clothing on the bike rack in the room.

The common kitchen and living room are clean, well maintained and cosy.
