It is a beautiful traditional house with a beautiful garden in a great neighborhood with an amazing view. The host, Mr. Ikeda is thoughtful and served us a wonderful breakfast. Breakfast is optional, but definitely recommend it.

Lovely room and most friendly and knowledgeable host, comfortable bed, nice view and pleasant Automn breeze provided a relaxed stay. Location was easy to find, and the house has a clear guesthouse sign. Very good Udon restaurant just five minutes' walk. Visiting Isamu Noguchi Garden museum and hiking to Aji Ryuozan Park which are lovely attractions in the close vicinity

Lovely traditional style guesthouse. Fabulous breakfast. Japanese type, beautifully presented and different every day. Beautiful small village setting. Lots of birdsongs in the morning and a lovely walk through the trees.

Hiro was a wonderful host. He had many recommendations for the area ready, and even recommended stops for our next stretch of travel. Hiro has a passion for interieur design which you can see and feel in his house. It was very nice sitting together for chat and glass of wine in the evening … and to enjoy his breakfast the next morning. We stayed two nights, enjoyed our entire stay and can wholeheartedly reccomend staying with Hiro, specifically if you want to experience a japanese home from the inside. Many thanks to Hiro for his hospitality!

The host was very kind and helpfull. He prepared an amazing breakfast for only a small price. The room was very nice and had an amazing view on the village and harbour. There is a very small but beautiful hike you can do from the house along the coast, where you can also swim. There are bikes that you can use for free to explore the beautiful and cute village of Aji (ask also to watch the movie shot in the village). There are a lot of stone quarries around, a nice ramen place and some nice cafes.

The house is in the middle of nature, you can go walking around and see incredible views of the islands. Hiro is super nice and a wonderful cook! The breakfast is incredible. The room has a splendid view. My stay was simply wonderful : ) And besides, it is very affordable. Thank you Hiro!!

It’s a bit far from the city (and buses stop fairly early), but if you know the bus schedules and plan accordingly, you should have no issues.

Beautiful residence in quiet residential neighborhood. Owner was very kind and drove me to-and-from Takamatsu station multiple times.

A very nice, small ryokan with the owner living on site. Simple but nice breakfast. The owner was so kind to us as that evening there was a storm and without us asking, he offered to run us down as well as pick up from a local restaurant

There is only one shower room and two toilets in the property. The facility is not enough for the guest.

The breakfast is Japanese style with fish, miso soup, vegetable, salad, rice. It is good value for the ¥500 paid. The location is quiet, we reach there by bicycle. The owner maintained the property in a very tidy condition. The small garden in the backyard is wonderful. The WIFI signal is very strong and is reachable in every corner of the property.

Takeda san, the owner, is a wonderful host. My family is grateful that he made our journey one of the best we have ever had in Japan. He is thoughtful, caring, and very helpful in every aspect during our stay. I can strongly recommend this place to anyone.
